Fighting has never been foreign to Remoor. The citizens of Remoor have never been concerned with outside troubles, after all; they had enough of their own. For years these troubles were swept underneath tourist grins, and happy words. The region’s dirty secrets were recently drug into the light.
Now, the world may as well have ended. The war between two mighty powers has destroyed everything in its path. Mewtwo, who some from Kanto and Johto might remember, has converted back to his human hating ways.
The other force, the Pravus Corporation, is owned by its multi-millionaire president [and headed by the council]; seeks only power, for themselves. Pravus knows nothing of restraint, and with the powers of science on their side they showed it.
The result ? :
The once beautiful region, packed with life, is now a destroyed mass of abandoned cities, and toxic fogs. Even the brave Nada Citadel is slowly rotting away, corruption and paranoia are slowly tearing its foundations to shreds. The entire region is a museum to the horror of war, and a prime example of Armageddon.
But the region has not drew its final breath quite yet:
The newly created group of the Rangers seeks nothing but to rid the world of Pravus, and return Remoor to its former glory. The group however, is slowly corrupting from the inside out, morphing into a different version of their enemy. To kill a monster, it often takes one, will the rangers become a reflection? Or will they retreat back to the moral high ground?.
The road is long and tough. Where it eventually ends is up to you.
The Old Farmstead The once beautiful red barn is now no more then a decaying foundation. The white picket fence has deteriorated, and now the serene barrier looks like the worn down teeth of some horrible predator. The grass is untamed, and covers everything, making it easy for very dangerous things to hide out here. Many Pokemon call this place home, and a few Tauros and Miltanks are occasionally spotted. This once loving home is now a horrid reminder of what happens when battles hit anywhere.
Flower Fields It seems this place was left relatively unaffected. The fields are made of short green grass, lovely willows dot the flat plain like landscapes. Flowers in all shades of the rainbow act as accents to this never ending sea of green. In the middle of it all is a small pond, a abandoned fishing shed on its shore. The plant pokemon of old flourish here--all thanks to the swamp that surrounds it. This place is hard to get to, so unless you wish to chance the Swamps, leae this last place of passed beauty be.
The Swamp The once dangerous Sildios Swamp has grown in size, and like all things left over it has become much more dangerous. The wastes and failed experiments from all three sides of the conflict are dumped here. Many of the Pokemon have mutated into fearsome mockeries of their ancestors. The smell of decaying vegetation and dirty water permeates the land for miles. As far as the eye can see is a three foot deep hell of molasses like liquid, and small bits of land.
The Spruce Desert The dirt is the color of dried blood, and deep cracks permeate the land, it very much resembles a desert; except for one feature. Giant charred pieces of wood extend high into the air, and the smell of wood smoke still drifts in the air. This was once a fertile forest, and is now a wasteland.
Barkwish This town was once small quaint, and attractive. Now it's small, and rather shitty. The buildings are beautiful, but the only plants growing here are hardy weeds. A few stubborn plant types are slowly nourishing this place back to life.
Only about 100 people call this town home now, and most are those scientists who dislike Pravus. They look to the burnt out lab for inspirtion whenever they have the urge to switch sides.
Isabella Plains This place is a variety of ancient trees, and sloping hills, punctuating by man made clearings, and small flowerfields. The trees vary from berry, to tropical. The old dirt path still is the easiest way to get to your destination. As you can tell the name is deceitful, and is named after the lady who first mapped this hilly woodland.
