Michael raised an eyebrow and kept, up dancing in an odd sort of movement, slightly faster than most folks would dance to this song, but still in rhythm.
His feet didn't seem to stay in one place for more than a second, in fact he seemed rather bouncy. Once a boxer, always a boxer.
He smirked watching her playfully. She was young, but it couldn't hurt to dance with a girl, anyhow? Even if the girl was obviously a cunning manipulator.
"You don't strike me as slow, just..patient," he said with a weak smirk and chuckle.
He then smirked as the Shinji ran up to him. "He would've had better luck with Sackeim, Zinn can be tricky to talk to," he said with a smirk.
Zinn almost raised an eyebrow, but still sipped his tea. "I'm quite impressed, actually. I rarely see a human who can keep up with Mike. Good to see that he's found someone who can keep up with his mind," he said, half of a weak smirk forming on his face. "Honestly, he's gotten to be pretty fast for an old man," he then looked over at the Aipom. "Yeah, I never understood that alcohol stuff either. Thst's why I stick to the tea," he said, sipping from his cup gently.
He smirked at her weakly. "Yeah, it's a pleasure," he said with a chuckle. he then realized she had asked him something. "Hmm? Oh no, I don't mind an audience, that I'm used to. Having a dancing partner, though. That's rather odd," he said, shrugging slightly. "You'd be surprised how few opportunities to dance you get with my winning looks," he then laughed again, obviously a slight coping mechanism, but a decent one. He knew that a few guys and girls were staring at him, wondering how in the hell he got to dance with her. But then again, that was life.

It's alright. How many times did I do that to you, honestly? xD A laugh hit her lips, as Akira found herself amused. Here, was a man, clearly above any of the other's intelligence and he had graced her with a compliment. Though, the laugh didn't hold a dryness or sarcastic tone. In fact the laugh was surprisingly warm. Catching a glimpse of the male's eyes made the lieutenant reply;
"Thank you~" Allowing her feet to maneuver, she added. "By the way, I will state this - I'm not out to 'use you' "-- fingers added quotes around the words 'use' and 'you' --"I would have by now, if I really wanted too...but, eh, what's the point? I found someone interesting~ Not fun to rob from a prize rare to find, after all!"
Oddly enough, words spoken with truth. As Akira allow one more twirl, she commented on what he spoke shortly after. "Ah! Shinji likes challenges, what can I say~" A faint giggle. "She enjoys the spotlight~"
Meanwhile the Aipom's tail swayed. Though she didn't understand it, she found it cute how others commented Akira. It almost made her stomach flustered, thinking maybe she was lucky to have a trainer. Then again, that made Shinji shiver for she found Akira quite the unique thinker. Swiftly, the Pokemon found herself releasing a chuckle-like response. ⌈Yes, she's there...that's for sure!⌋ Instantly her beady eyes caught the tea cup. The famous smile sprang forth. ⌈Yeah! Yeah! She (Akira) drinks that stuff (tea) a lot! I found it weird how she drank that burning stuff!⌋
"I see, I see." Akira gave her legs another stretch as the dancing didn't slow. Listening to his comment, she eyed at the other girls. Her expression seem to fell, holding a neutral expression. It was only a wonder to what the sneering girls were thinking. With a sigh, Akira could possibly think of one way. Which..would damage Mike's reputation if something was taken out of hand. "Meh, they're quite the odd ones. Shouldn't be judging by looks anyway~" Instantly, her eyes glanced up, catching the last vocals ringing out.
The swaying rhythms continued as Akira found the beat beginning its fade. A dim frown had phased her lips, not wanting to have the song reach the end of its coarse. Never the less Akira let her body finish off the dance, coming to a slow halt.
She waited for his motions to fade off as well. Then headed for the bar. Swaying around the crowd, she spoke out. "It was a pleasure, I can't believe I've never seen you about before..." her voice trailed off.
Once hitting the bar, her arms extended and locked themselves around Shinji. Pulling her Aipom close, Akira snuggled her like a teddy bear. Laughing she spoke again. "Mister Mike, perhaps we'll meet again." Glancing over she let a smile slide on by. "For, the night is drawing a close and...we, unlike these Privates, have important shoes to fill." Another giggle. "So, see you around sometime again?"
Allowing the monkey-like form to huggle close, Akira held out her free, right hand. She wasn't going to say good-bye; for they would never meet again. In fact, she was going to hope to see him again...and hopefully not as his full out client. Once the shake was complete, the lieutenant instantly pulled away. Making sure she paid for everything, she headed toward the exit...
I suppose this is the end? -sniffle- I had soo much fun too!

Michael nodded. Use him? For what? He was hardly useful, except maybe in the terms of political maneuvering, but even then not likely. He shrugged. "I figured as much. If you had a plan, you would've already started it."
Zinn nodded. "Yeah, humans can be weird in their taste. But then, I hardly eat or drink much any way," he said with a slight shrug.
Dhanus decided to speak up as well. "Honestly, I don't see why food is so important. I do just fine without it."
Zinn chuckled. "Yeah, but your'e not designed to have food. Most pokemon and all humans are."
Michael smiled. To be entirely honest, it was a pleasure, but she had a point. He did have work tomorrow, probably having to deal with that isolationist punk Garth. Ah well.
He then grinned. "It's been a pleasure meeting and matching wits with you, Miss Akira. I hope we'll meet again soon," he said with a grin. She was fun, if a bit on the complicated side. Okay, a lot on the complicated side.
He suddenly remembered that he hadn't given her his tarot deck. He followed after had handed it to her. "Sorry, slipped my mind until just now. I also still woe you that favor, so swing by my office in the lab anytime you need a hand," he said with a smirk, taking his coin back from her as well. "This I'm keeping though. Thanks."

The palm received the deck of cards, allowing the lieutenant to examine. Fancy, the decorations were and instantly occupied Akira. With a smile, she cuffed her hands, feeling the ridges of each card. Sharp (being new) yet had an old feel to them. As if the cards lacked to be taken out of a package until this night.
"I'll make sure to do that," the slick reply came. The smile faltered as Mike swiftly took back the coin. Perhaps, he would always remain a superior - not that it bothered her anyway. As the tall, built, male only held his smirk. A flash of amusement slipped her features, as the woman spoke again."You caught me~"
While she let herself slip on away, allowing her hand to pocket the cards, Shinji stirred. The Aipom's little stub waved (quite at a ridiculous fas pace) toward all the figures. As Akira paced farther down the hall, the monkey spoke up with a snicker.
⌈What'cha gonna ask, eh? Eh? What are ya gonna ask? Huuuuh? Teeeeelll meeeee!⌋ The pleas never ceased from the smiling face. The tail gripped tighter on the woman's shoulder, as the Pokemon dared herself to push in front of Akira's face. Once more, a rang of begs escaped the pearly whites needing - no wanting - an answer!
A chuckle escaped the lips. Clicks echoed down the barren hallways, as Akira finally answered the frenzied Aipom."Honestly, I don't know." Her lip curved upward, as words continued."Perhaps, I'd just pay him a visit~ After all, it's quite fun just to drop in~"
A cheeky giggle was released from the Aipom. The purple fur was ruffled by the pale hand, once more, stroking it. As the night lingered on, the lieutenant only pondered on what to ask. Nothing high in price - for she could buy it herself - or anything over the man' head. Unlike the woman, but she wasn't going to roll over a man that gave her a challenge.
She waved, though at a distance, one last time. Swiftly she veered at the corner...
