Jack chuckled. "Naahhh, ya just gotta knock on the door," He said as he cheerily banged on it a few times. The door opened quickly, and a well-dressed large bouncer smirked. "Up the stairs, gentlemen."
jack nodded and walked up, letting the others follow his lead for a change. The stairs were rather nice, and surprisingly roomy, although Hotaka still had to watch himself slightly. At the top of the stair case was a small lounge-like room with two giant oak doors.
The two doors and the decor of the room was rather simple, but elegant. It wasn't Persian's palace, but it wasn't meant to be. It was meant to be a classy casino with a wild streak, and it was that. Jack smiled as he fiddled with his hair in the mirror. "Man, all that running made me look a bit messy. Ah well. At least I have a smirk on my face," he then laughed slightly.
"Drinks are decent, but stiff. Girls are great, trouble's greater, keep an eye out once you get in," He said as he opened the door and walked in casually. Casual was the only way you could be here without being suspected of something.
The place was pretty impressive compared to most of these kind of dives. Jimmy's was an old, seedy casino, and it had been around since long before the war. To be honest, the place had been around so long that nobody knew where the or who Jimmy actually was. Only that it was the name on the neon sign behind the bar. most of the place was marble and dark wood, and except the slight smell of smoke, it was pretty clean. The women, true to the rep, were cute and numerous, serving drinks and dealing tables.

One thing was for certain. Jack hadn't been lying when he said the place was classy. Actually, classy didn't quite do it justice. This was place was great. Ethan and Fuego had to hold themselves in check to keep from gawking at the sights laid for them. Cute girls serving drinks, other cute girls working the tables, and even more cute girls dressed in skimpy dresses and carousing with the patrons. Things just couldn't get any better.
It was like Ethan had died and gone to Heaven.
"Now this is a place I can get used to." the Ranger thought with a wide grin pulling his lips. A man in a fine suit approached him and offered to take his jacket, but Ethan politely refused with a light wave of a hand and a nod. The place was definitely classy, but he wasn't about to relinquish anything of his to anybody here. Especially not his stash of Pokeballs and other prized items.
Meanwhile Fuego seemed just as excited as Ethan was. The little pink hearts pounding in his eyes and at least doubled, if not tripled, in size since the group had set foot in the casino itself. Everywhere the Typhlosion looked, he saw something that he liked very much. A cute little Mawile was selling cigarettes and cigars out of a box she wore around her waist. A svelte Persian was laying on top of a piano while a man with a derby played it, her tail looping seductively this way and that as she scanned the crowd with a Cheshire's grin. Elsewhere, an elegant and shapely Gardevoir was quietly dancing on stage while a lounge singer sang her song.
And best of all....
There were Lopunnies! Twins over by the bar and all alone! If that wasn't enough to make Fuego faint deadaway at such loveliness, then nothing was! The hearts in his eyes grew four, five, six times their original size and then suddenly popped just as his jaw literally hit the floor. "KRAWKAWR!" he exclaimed in triumph, his tongue lolling out the side of his open jaws just as the Lopunny Twins caught sight of him. They giggled and waved to him.
That did it. That was all Fuego could ever hope to stand. After manually closing his mouth with his hands, and then smoothing back a tuft of fur on his head, he looked at Ethan over his shoulder with a wide and naughty grin on his face, his eyes glinting like a bachelor on the prowl.
"Oh, geez... Go ahead, Fuego. Just don't cause any trouble while we're here." Ethan laughed. There was no way in hell that he was going to deny his partner getting some "fine company" when he was planning on doing the same thing, after all.
Fuego gave another happy "Brawf!" as if acknowledging Ethan's prompt and then hurried over to where the Lopunny Twins were waiting for him. They only giggled and waved their little paws at him when he came near, and then snuggled up close to him on both sides when he sat between them. Based on the look he was having, he had also died and gone straight to Heaven.
Meanwhile, Ethan cupped a hand to his mouth and shouted to Fuego, "And be a gentleman, damn it! They're fine ladies, after all!" Whether Fuego had heard him or not was a mystery after that. With that, Ethan glanced back at Jack with a big grin and gestured towards the bar where the cute bartender in the skimpy maid's outfit was serving drinks. "Let's go grab a seat before the place gets full, shall we?"

Jack grinned wickedly. He raised an eyebrow at Maria's get-up. "Nice oufit Mar-"
"Zip it, Jack." She glared. "I lost a bet. That's all."
Jack almost dropped his jaw in shock. "Maria, the queen of poker? Lode a bet? Damn. That ain't likely."
"He put down 30 grand. I ca't believe I got hustled," she said with a shrug. "I used to deal chumps like him for breakfast."
Jack smiled. "If you point him out, I might be able to counter-hustle. For a small fee, of course."
Maria raised an eyebrow. "You expect me to pay you? You owe how much on your tab here?"
Jack shook his head. "Money's not my product. You, me dinner. And I promise, no maid's uniform. Even if you look great in it."
Maria glared at him. "Why do you always try to hustle me for a date, when most of the other girls here like you more than I do?"
"'Cause you're more fun," he said with a playful smirk. "Besides, the new guy here doesn't need competition on his first night."
Maria didn't blink, living up to her ice queen reputation, she eyed him once and the got back to mixing drinks."Who's competing, he's pretty good-looking, at least compared to you," she said dryly.
"Soemthing for the lad, and a decent cup of tea to mend my pained, breaking heart," he said in an overly dramatic tone filled with mock weepiness. He then smiled at the young man. "Ethan, welcoem to Jimmy's. One of the best places to be in this region I've found this far," he said with a smile as his scotch came in. "Order a drink, and find yourself a girl. It'll end in fun I promise."

This place just kept getting better and better. As Ethan followed Jack to the bar and took a seat, he caught a good look at the woman in the maid's outfit polishing glasses behind it. To say that she was a knockout was an understatement, especially considering the...uh...*ahem*... "obvious assets" she sported that were enhanced by the corset of her outfit. If beauty and a cool demeanor was gold, then she had enough of it to make King Solomon blush.
Which was exactly why Ethan decided that it was a good idea to be on his best behavior tonight. Maria was a hotty among hotties, but her icy exterior painted her as one of the big bosses of this place. Ethan was a lecherous pervert, but even he knew better than to try anything with a woman he knew he couldn't handle. Especially when it could get him kicked out before he had his drink. And a waitress.
With that in mind, Ethan leaned forward over the bar and smiled politely to Maria and nodded his head. "I'll have a Vodka Seven, please. Silver Star Vodka, if you have it." he told the woman in the maid's outfit. After that, he glanced at Jack with a big grin and then cast an eye out to the crowd filling the spacious room. Nothing but cute girls and good times as far as the eye could see. "I'll take your word on that, Jack." he told the older male before cracking a wry grin. "I think I'll scope out the place from here for a bit first, though. Gotta keep an eye on Fuego for a bit, anyway."
At that moment, almost as if on cue, a burst of raucous laughter and demure giggling came from the table were Fuego and the two Lopunny Twins were seated. A quick glance in that direction told Ethan that his partner was having superb luck so far, which was quite a shock considering the experience in the streets earlier in the day. Fuego had an arm around each twin and was just soaking up the loving attention they gave him. One of them was even running her pay through the fur covering the Typhlosion's chest, which made Fuego seem like he was just going to melt into the seat right then and there.
"Lucky fuzzball." Ethan commented jokingly.
((xD We gotta get more people in here. This is getting to be too much fun for just the two of us.))

Jack shrugged. "Let the man in the grey duster clean you out," he said with a smirk.
"You already knew it was him?" Maria said with surprise.
Jack just smiled weakly. "The reason I don't play here often is because I'm way too good for my own good. I figure if I tip well and have a good time, nobody minds me."
Hotaka slowly lumbered in through the door, cheerily eyeing the room. Everyone knew he was Jack's right hand man, and everyone knew that as long as he wasn't insult, he was harmless, loud steps aside.
Lucidia had started talking evilly with the cheerful young Persian, plotting something truly horrible to be certain.
Hotaka sat on his usual stool, a steel-rein forced one.
Maria nodded, serving the drinks as Jack put down enough coin for both of them on the table. "Your first one's on me. So whattya say, Maria? I'll win back the money if you give me the chips, promise."
"And what if you fail miserably?" Maria said as she put some cash in the jar and smirked.
"Then I'll owe you three nights of free work as a bouncer, and I'll even dress more appropriately. Suit and tie, promise," he said with a smirk.
"You in a suit? That's worth more than any game we have here," she siad with a grin.
"Then it's a deal. I'll need about four grand in chips to start. Once I bankrupt him, you find someone to work your shift on Thursday."
Maria attempted to form a counter-argument, but she decided this would be too entertaining. "Fine. But I am not cooking."
Jack shook his head. "For once, we both agree on something."

((Guh, sorry this took a bit. Work's been killer this week. xD And we still need more people in here.))
While Jack was flirting with Maria (or trying to), Ethan was busy being on the lookout for hotties. And there were plenty roaming about. If Ethan didn't know any better, he'd say that he had died and gone to Heaven. A Heaven where the angels were curvy cocktail waitresses in slinky dresses and the harp music was cool lounge music. "Forget the hot springs, this place is great!" the young Ranger thought to himself as he sipped his drink, nodding to an especially pretty blonde waitress who walked by and winked at him.
It was just the right incentive Ethan was looking forward to. "Oh yeah..." Ethan thought again, but with an even bigger and dreamier smile. "This place rocks."
And it was that moment that he happened to catch a few choice snippets of Jack's and Maria's conversation. Namely, the parts about gambling. Now that perked Ethan's interests. He had been hoping for something fun to do to come along, and what better way do that than play some poker? That rent money had to come from somewhere, so it might as well come from here.
"Mind if I join you, Jack?" Ethan asked his new friend, a quick glance thrown to the pile of chips on the bar. "I think Fuego is gonna be just fine with the two lady friends over there." he added while pointing briefly in the Typhlosion's direction.
And Fuego was having the time of his life. A cute Lopunny under each arm, and one of them circling a finger through the fur of his chest. It was a wonder that the spots on the back of his neck didn't suddenly erupt and vaporize the back of the booth they were sitting in.
