Build: Slender with barely any muscles; Bradley is a little bit of a wimp -- okay, a lot of a wimp.
Other Appearance Information:
Because Brad is still rather young, his features help him immensely when it comes to his devious plots to rip people of their hard earned money. He has the appearance of a Vibrava. Well, sort of -- not exactly. His eyes, unlike many other natural hues of green, are very much alike to those of a Vibrava. Maybe that's why he was nicknamed Bug; he had the huge, innocent, green eyes of one. As for his hair, it, too, resembles that of a Vibrava's skin. His hair doesn't really do anything to reveal his true age. Instead, it makes him look younger; he has a boyish, choppy cut -- still, it's fun to play with...So he's heard. But back to how it works wonders for getting what he wants. He leans forward -- in a chair usually -- and gazes into the eyes of his female customers. With one look at his handsome face, they try their hardest to impress him, simpering in his ears. The deal is done at that point, the money handed over. He barely has to try.
As for his sense of style, Brad really doesn't have a great one. While trying to get some business, he wears button down shirts of pastel hues, and dark wash jeans. Sounds perfectly normal, right? No. He wears what could be nice clothes, but buys them in a few sizes too big. And with a thin physique one would think he would show it off. No. It's as if he likes to keep to himself. Well, that's far from the truth. He actually doesn't mind attention from the opposite sex. When he is alone in his room, or just simply going out to run some necessary errand, Brad will wear normal clothes such as a hoodie and jeans.
And although Brad sounds perfect in many aspects, he has a few scars along his cheekbone due to an accident. Madd had been mad at him(no pun intended) after he had easily scammed her into joining the same group he had. With a bat in hand, Madd slammed it right across his face, landing him a two weeks stay in the hospital. He had a bandage along his eye and cheekbone for a good while, until the doctors finally found it time to take off the wrappings and reveal to him what they had left after doing a reconstructive surgery on his face. The marks weren't that hideous, nor were they gruesome, but they were still there. There were several of them as well.
Little, thin, pink scars lined his cheekbone. They gave him a sense of pride in himself. He could now brag to women about how he had gotten the scars -- he had survived a Scyther attack (wink, wink, lie, lie). But while he could brag about the marks, they were also a burden, because he knew the real way he had gotten them. Madd had been angry with him, his friend -- the one person he had gotten along with, even if not really, and she instilled a dark memory in his mind; he would hold that memory onto him forever as well, remembering it every time he looked into the mirror -- at his scars.

Information:
Personality:
Brad, at times, may come off as a wimp, and in truth, he is just that: a wimp. He's generally afraid of confrontations or fights of any sorts, so he never really thought it necessary to work on his physique or train himself in up close combat like he should have given his job as a conman, which can always backfire on him. When he just smells a confrontation or fight starting, Brad is out of there in a heartbeat, not willing to allow himself from getting his face beaten in by someone he most likely didn't know -- only if they are stronger, of course --, and was only trying to start up a business with him. He had already gotten his face "beaten in" once before and didn't want to go back for a second round. Therefore, his Pokemon fight his battles for him; although, they aren't that strong either. It's a never ending chain of inferiority with Brad, but it doesn't bother him much. All he cares about is the money.
Aside from being a wimp, or coward -- which ever you prefer -- he is also a dirty player. Women come and go, yes. But does Brad ever truly show them love? No. Does he ever really care about them? No. He just likes what they can offer him: money, sex, money, sex…You get it. Using his faux charm, Brad pulls women in. He talks to them in the sweetest ways he can manage, showering them with compliments, and in turn, they do the same. The sad thing is, Brad has no shame in doing it. He takes pride in what he can do by just running his mouth, by bringing women back to his room and landing them a one night’s stay in Brad’s world. And they don’t even see past his plot -- they are just in awe at how glorious he can make them feel, when in reality he’s just trying to persuade them into showing him a “good time”. With Brad’s sex life at a dizzying height, it is very possible that he’s already a father to some women’s children; however, he’ll never know, nor will he care. There are never any attachments towards the women he sleeps with. He just doesn’t believe in that crazy little game called love.
He did it, he did it, he did it! Oh yes, you guessed right. Brad is a tattle tale to the highest level. When he sees trouble brewing on the streets, hears a rumor about someone’s doings, or sees a conspiracy unfolding, you can bet he opens up his huge mouth and expresses it. Nothing is never kept secret between him and people he just barely knows, because he likes creating hell for them. It’s never for the greater good, it just makes him feel accomplished -- seeing someone get nailed for doing something that could have unfurled into what could have become nasty. And what’s better than seeing someone get in trouble is seeing the looks on the people’s faces as they realize that it was in fact Brad who had snitched on them. The sense of empowerment it brings is unbelievable, adds to Brad’s pompous, arrogant nature. It’s a wonder he even has friends. Wait, does he have those? No. He put all of his friends in jail. Well, most of them. Maybe one or two are still wandering around on the streets; maybe Madd is wandering around on the streets. He’ll never know, though, because she is truly the one thing he fears for his life. Oh yes, Brad is scared of a girl. But not just any girl -- Madd.
Speaking of Madd, while around her, Brad is different. He becomes Bug around her. Well, at least he used to. Until he manipulated her into joining team Rocket they had been friends. Or maybe she thought they were friends, Brad would never know. His ability to hide his true hearts desires helped him to coax her into becoming a Rocket Grunt, although, she never really got a Pokemon, and her “room and board” wasn’t exactly the best either. Though when she finally caught onto his acts, she grew angry and slammed him against the wall, only to be slammed against the back of the skull by his Infernape. She got her revenge, though, and now, if Brad was to see her once again, he knew he would be shaking in his boots. He wasn’t afraid of the dark, bug Pokemon, or dark, confined spaces. He was afraid of her. So in terror of knowing that if they were to meet again, Brad was, as you could say…in hiding from her -- from her vicious strike.
When it comes to his Pokemon, though, Brad is a whole new person. He puts his scamming aside, as well as his manipulative ways, and talks to them like they are the crème de la crème -- the cream of the crop. After all, years with them has only strengthened their relationships, as well as made them inseparable. It can even be said that his Infernape and Vibrava are Brad’s only real friends, because they, even if they don’t necessarily like it, take part in Brad’s schemes. After spending hours on the streets, Brad absolutely loves coming back to his quarters, only to find his two Pokemon waiting very impatiently for him. And when they are all together, the unimagined happens: They enjoy themselves. Whether it be watching movies, playing video games, or playing board games -- Brad and his Pokemon are always smiling. It’s hard to believe that the same man who sleeps around with women, schemes people into giving him money, and manipulates people can be kind and gentle towards anyone -- or in this case, his Pokemon.
History:
Brad is just what you would consider a messed up guy. It all started when he was little, when his father decided the right thing to do when you get mad at your wife, the one person you truly gave your heart and devotion to, is to leave without a trace and never come back. At first, Brad really didn't know what to think of it, because he was still a young boy of twelve years old. He had faith in his father, along with a strong feeling of hope in knowing that he would eventually get tired of being away from his family and come back to tell them that he "made an awful mistake and hates himself for it." But when that never happened, Brad grew resilient towards his mother, just as his father did.
He believed that it was her fault for his departure, because why else would he just slip away unseen in the middle of the night? Why else would he have taken his Pokemon, his money, and his possessions with him? There hadn't even been anything wrong. His parents seemed fine until one night when Brad's father had been away on a fishing trip, said he would be back one date, but then came home on an earlier one. After that night, Brad's father seemed bothered -- or even troubled by something that had never been there before...Brad just didn't know what it could be.
Around two months after his father left, Brad knew he had to have a serious one to one with his mother about what happened. However, when he went to do so, he heard whispering from his mother's room; Brad deciphered the voices easily: one was male, the other female. The woman was his mother, the man...Well, he was someone that wasn't Brad's father. He couldn't understand what it meant at first, but quickly realized that his father left because his mother had been cheating on him. That's what he saw when he came back to surprise his family; he'd seen another man in his bed.
It was his mother's fault. Brad just couldn't come to believe it. Sure, they hadn't really gotten along after his father left because he had become hateful and resentful towards her, but this? This was just so unexpected, as well as alarming. No wonder his father left. His father probably felt just as duped as he felt. Why marry to just cheat on the one you "loved" later on in the relationship? It was just wrong. So, so wrong, and Brad wouldn't have it. So he opened the door, not even caring that his mother and the man might be unclothed, and gave his mother what was coming to her.
"You gosh darn bitch! You've been thinkin' all along you'd get away with this didn't you? Well you're not foolin' me. I'm leavin' mom, leavin'! Just like Pa did." And Brad stuck to his word. He managed to contact his father through a local police station, it took him a long while, but he did it. Together again, the two began to strengthen the bond that had been broken because of Brad's foolish mother who had thought she would get away with cheating on her father and still keep her happiness as she did so. Well, her happiness was gone now, and Brad didn't even care if she was regretting her decision. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with her.
Years went by and things remained somewhat the same. Brad still lived with his busy, hard-working father, while they both tried their hardest to keep their little, blue home running. There were changes, though. Brad had gotten his first Pokemon, albeit a little late. It was a badass little Chimchar -- Inferno -- that thought he ruled the roost when it came to practically everything. They trained together, ate together and slept together; Brad considered the little guy to be the best friend, or even brother that he never had.
About a month later, Brad joined Team Rocket. It was the "family business", as his father called it, and Brad finally understood where his dad really went on all those business trips: He was on a mission to steal Pokemon from their trainers and bring chaos to those who didn't wish for it to be thrust upon them. They picked on the weak of heart, manipulating them into believing nothing but a lie -- Never the truth, always lies. Oddly enough, Brad adjusted to this new way of living as if he'd been a manipulative bastard his whole life. He lied, he cheated and he stole...There wasn't even any shame.
Not too long after Brad had become a Team Rocket member himself, he met Madd. She was a pretty girl -- pretty tall as well. And while she thought there was a friendship forming between the two, Brad was simply trying to get her to join up in the ranks of Team Rocket like he had. It wasn't even that hard. Getting her to join was like stealing candy from a baby: All too easy. He didn't even treat her like a true friend. He treated her like crap, spoke to her like the sly jerk he was. Then when she joined...Oh, Brad had never been so proud in himself.
The two had a heated confrontation in Madd's room after she finally realized she had been duped, which ended up in a ringed fist connecting with the back of her head; Inferno had slammed her so hard for thrusting Brad against the wall. While she lay unconscious on the floor, Brad pulled out his pocket knife. There was no way he was going to leave without making a permanent memory for him and Madd to reminisce on for years to come. So he etched out a pretty noticeable B onto her right shoulder.
Not only did he do that, he paid some Rocket's to do whatever they wished with her. He was pleasantly surprised when they injected her with some Pokemon DNA, a Combusken to be exact. But what was even better was that the experiment had been a success. He brought her pain and suffering for years to come, which was all he wanted to do. Madd wouldn't let him go that easily, unfortunately.
Still happy with what he had done with her, after throwing himself his own little party, Madd escaped her hospital room. It wasn't that hard to find her, being that a trail of blood had led him to her, but what she had in hand wasn't expected: A bat...That damn. Metal. Bat. What happened next, however, wasn't anything Brad liked to look back on. She had swung so hard at his face with the bat, made contact, and knocked him out cold mid-smirk.
Days...weeks...months...Brad didn't know how long he had been in a hospital bed, but it was long enough. Doctors looked at him on a daily basis, carefully undresses and redressing the wounds that had yet to heal after a much-needed reconstructive surgery. He knew that the surgery saved his eye, as well as his face, but it still came at a cost. There was a very good chance he wouldn't look the same as he used to. And when the day came that the doctors finally decided Brad could see his face, his nerves were alive like a live wire.
The scarring wasn't that terrible, definitely not as bad as he had expected. Thankfully, the doctors had a very talented hand at reconstructive surgery, because his face looked just as it had before -- give or take the small pink scars that now lined his cheekbone. Still he, like Madd, had something to remember her by. Never a day went by that Brad didn't look in the mirror and grimace at his face. It was a reminder of how it all started. A memory as to the turning point in his life.-x-
Brad made a tough decision by moving to the Remoor region, even though he really had no decision -- being forced into hiding and all because of Madd and his new found fear towards her. Everything there was so much different than back home in Cerulean. There were no Team Rocket members, instead, there were different groups of people such as the Pravus and Rangers. He researched up a bit of information about both, only to discover that he was more of a Pravus than a Ranger any day. So he joined up in their ranks as a spy for Team Rocket.
The workload was definitely much different than he was used to. There was more physical work, spending hours upon hours training and working out in gyms, as well as other work. The paper work was immense, piling up quickly within Brad's room. And although he didn't necessarily like it, he had to do what he had to do to succeed, like always. Plus, working within the Pravus headquarters gave him more opportunity to con people out of their money. Not to mention the women that walked around on a daily basis pretty much provoked him into having girls stay for the night.
He knew he was becoming like his mother, nor did he care. It wasn't like he was in a serious relationship, or married in her case, he was just fooling around simply put. And as long as he was safe, he wasn't hurting anyone. Sure, he could possibly get girls pregnant, but he wouldn't talk to them after one night. No, never after one night. Emotional attachment was, in all honesty, one of Brad's biggest fears -- That and multiple other things. So women never really lasted more than one day with him.
Aside from the women and workload in the Pravus headquarters, Brad didn't really do much on a daily basis. He sat around and waited for business opportunities. Even then, though, he didn't make much money. Not like he used to back in Cerulean. Then again, Brad was still new to Remoor...he needed time to adjust. Also, Remoor gave him the distance he wanted to keep from both him and Madd. He feared the day they would meet up again, if it would ever happen, because he knew very well that she wasn't done with him. The animosity had only begun...
( Will expand on this as I delve into Bug's character. :] )
Characters Pokemon:
Name: Inferno.
Gender: Male.
Species: Infernape.
Age: 10
Level: 38
Personality: Inferno likes to think he is a badass tough guy, when in reality, he really isn't. But he won't let you tell him otherwise. Most of the time he starts confrontations with other trainers Pokemon, just so he can show them his "awesome power" as he calls it. Aside from that, Inferno talks like he's a gangster or something. It gets annoying at times, but what are you going to do? Knowing him, he'd probably smash a ringed fist against your face just to get his point across.
Attacks:
- Protect.
- Flame Wheel.
- Close Combat.
- Fire Spin.
- Flare Blitz.
- Ember.
- Hyper Beam(TM).
- Iron Tail(TM).
Name: Nightwing(she goes by Night, though).
Gender: Female.
Species: Vibrava.
Age: 6
Level: 37
Personality:
Night, like Inferno, thinks she is stronger than she really is, but in her case it's most likely because she tends to protect Brad from people who don't necessarily like him. In lesser words, she fights his battles for him. It can be bothersome, but has saved Brad's ass on more than one occasion, so he can't even say he doesn't like it when she defends him. Other than being a bit of a overprotective Vibrava, Night enjoys learning. Whenever she can she reads signs around Remoor, little pamphlets Brad picks up on his travels, or even books Brad checks out from the local library for her.
Attacks:
- Dragonbreath.
- Faint Attack.
- Hyper Beam.
- Bite.
- Earthquake.
- Earth Power.
