Fighting has never been foreign to Remoor. The citizens of Remoor have never been concerned with outside troubles, after all; they had enough of their own. For years these troubles were swept underneath tourist grins, and happy words. The region’s dirty secrets were recently drug into the light.
Now, the world may as well have ended. The war between two mighty powers has destroyed everything in its path. Mewtwo, who some from Kanto and Johto might remember, has converted back to his human hating ways.
The other force, the Pravus Corporation, is owned by its multi-millionaire president [and headed by the council]; seeks only power, for themselves. Pravus knows nothing of restraint, and with the powers of science on their side they showed it.
The result ? :
The once beautiful region, packed with life, is now a destroyed mass of abandoned cities, and toxic fogs. Even the brave Nada Citadel is slowly rotting away, corruption and paranoia are slowly tearing its foundations to shreds. The entire region is a museum to the horror of war, and a prime example of Armageddon.
But the region has not drew its final breath quite yet:
The newly created group of the Rangers seeks nothing but to rid the world of Pravus, and return Remoor to its former glory. The group however, is slowly corrupting from the inside out, morphing into a different version of their enemy. To kill a monster, it often takes one, will the rangers become a reflection? Or will they retreat back to the moral high ground?.
The road is long and tough. Where it eventually ends is up to you.
What You Need To Know (3 sub-boards) Welcome to the second version of the popular Remoor Region RPG. This is a PG-13, literate-advanced Pokemon RPG that will contain: Course Language, Violence and Macabre, References to Sexual Content and other things that may not be suitable for all audiences. This is your warning.
Profiles (7 sub-boards) Post your profiles here. If accepted, they will be moved to the appropriate subboard. Make sure you read everything in the board above before submitting a profile.
The Pokedex (1 sub-board) This is where all the information on Remoor's native species is stored. Please try and integrate them into your teams--and be sure to read carefully.
Contests , Polls, and Competitions (2 sub-boards) This is the board where all of the contests are displayed--and all voting takes place. If you are ever consumed by boredom--try and enter one of the contests inside.
[T]he ~[S]hop Those points burning a hole in your (or a character account's) pocket? Come here to spend them. You can earn all sorts of special things--but only with IC posts . .
In Character Things (8 sub-boards) This board is where you can find any number of things to do with your character without actually posting with them. Maybe a quick phone call, or you'd like to plot with them. It could be anything.
Out Of Character Things (7 sub-boards) This is where you can introduce yourself, play meaningless games, chat about anything random or submit a suggestion to the staff. Anything out of character belongs here.
Advertisements (3 sub-boards) This is where you can plug your own site, so long as you provide us with a place to plug our own. If you are an invisionfree site that bans proboards sites, we are proboards; so don't post.
The North (3 sub-boards) Perhaps the most abandoned part of Remoor, seeing as most of it was destroyed. Most people fear to tread here after the destruction of the North of Remoor, and is nothing but a place for ghost pokemon to wander.
The East (5 sub-boards) The East was famous for having the Pyrothia Mountains, caves, and flying pokemon, but is reduced to destruction like the rest of Remoor. Though the mountains are still standing, all pokemon and people have abandoned the area, seeing as Pravus took the mountains, and patrol the area often.
The South (5 sub-boards) For the most part this part of Remoor seems to be one of emptiness. The only things that are visible are the tan of the sand, the silver of the moongrass and the teal of the sea. The only noise is of wind, and waves. A rather lonely place to be.
The West (6 sub-boards) This section of Remoor is a good example of what war does to a country. Whether its the blackened trees, radioactive water, or abandoned buildings there are very little things of beauty left.
The Seas and Rivers (1 sub-board) Rolling blue waves, topped by foamy hats--the seas of Remoor stretch all about the region, hugging it in a cool embrace. The air about the sea tasted extremely salty, and tangy with the stench of rotten fish. Storms commonly rage over the waters, and seemingly friendly ships patrol the shores--stopping all from entering.
Far off on the horizon, the leering darkness of Mewtwo's island is visible.
The Family District (5 sub-boards) The family district of nada citadel is probably the only place you can go for safety after all the destruction and danger around. The family district is patrolled by police very often to keep it safe. Trouble should not make itself seen here.
The Streets (3 sub-boards) If it isn't one of the below--then it's likely found on the streets. This includes the apartment buildings, houses, and such.
The District of Fun (5 sub-boards) This is where you go to loosen up. Do you feel like forgetting your problems for a few hours? Dancing sound fun? Movies? Gambling? Well this is the place to come.
The Rundown (3 sub-boards) The rundown is truly the worst of the worst. After the crime that blossomed after the fighting broke out, the gym, colliseum and contest hall became out of use... until the gym was taken to be used as, instead of a fighting arena, an over eighteens dance club.
The Underground (2 sub-boards) Through various shops of the city, there exist small little doors--through which one can enter Nada's 'underground'. The underground is a series of rock hewned tunnels, that goes underneath the city, and happens to contain quite a bit of illegal activity.
The Pokemon Ranch [OUTSIDE NADA] (7 sub-boards) About a quarter of a mile outside of the walled city of Nada, a large beautiful rance has risen. This ranch is about , the same size as the city--and goes from rolling green hills to miniature forests.
Central Area (5 sub-boards) The largest part of Pravus, which leads to the Left and Right wing, as well as to Mion's office. With marble floors and white walls, it's very bright and inviting. Most members can be found cluttered here.
Dorm Rooms (15 sub-boards) The rows and rows on dark wood doors and gold plated numbers only means these are the dorm rooms. Each room is different, most holding one bed, but some people could bunk together if requested. Upon joining, you shall receive a very simple room, with tan walls and a simple twin bed. They can be customized to your liking.
The Outer Areas (7 sub-boards) Lush hallways stretch away from the central area in ray like arrays. Hydraulic doors litter these long empty expanses of shining marble, and brilliant silver. Discreet little plates tell you where each leads.
At the end of the leftmost array--protected by a thumb, and retina scanner-- rests Pravus' lab.
Underground (1 sub-board) This island has a recently discovered subterrean cavern--it is useful for docking ships, planes, and serves as a nice vault. During summer you can find many grunts lounging around down here. The temperature is much cooler.
Lower Floor (3 sub-boards) While the massive dome shaped Ranger HQ stretches very high into the air, the bottom floor is known as the most popular one. Unlike most bottom floors, this one is under the ground, and the tunnel to enter the HQ leads directly into the entrance hall. However, what most of the men are more interested in is the fact the bar is down here.
The Rooms (15 sub-boards) This is where the rangers call home. They are little more then small, one room apartments in a small corner of the Ranger HQ, but it is certainly better then nothing.
Upper Floor (3 sub-boards) Above the entrance hall, building upwards as always in a dome shape, is the upper floor. This is mostly taken up by the huge stadium in the middle, but branching to the sides are other places to go.
