The Player:
OOC Account: Kristie Age: 17 Activity Level: High Other Characters: Gregory Gene, Elien/Jake Loon, Richard Cathal, Clive S. Arthur
Basic Character Information:
Name: Skie Loon Alias: Skie, Sugar-Addict, Shrimp (I'd advise not using the last one) Gender: Female Age: 18 Birthday: September 20th Allegiance: Rangers Position: Agent Species: Human / Steelix Pokemorph (glitched - can't morph) Sexuality: Straight (totally not looking)
Hobbies:- Drawing (mostly just doodles on paperwork nowadays)
- Reading (favorite genres? Fantasy/Action/Adventure. And don't tell her I told you, but she loves sappy romance stuff)
- Sleeping
- Daydreaming (she completely zones. You need to like, shove her to get the girl's attention)
- Teasing Kaine McAllister about anything and everything (you'd think it was a hobby from how much she does it)
- Combat training (So fun. And her favorite sparring partner? Ha. Kaine, of course)
Likes:- Kaine McAllister ♥ (like zomg)
- Her team, brother and friends (she loves all of them)
- Candy (she'll do just about anything you want if you wave a chocolate bar in front of her)
- Spending time with her team and friends, even if they aren't doing anything (video games are a cool pastime)
- Sleeping in (about noon)
- Staying up late (midnight at least)
- Making new friends and allies
- Feeling safe and secure
- Eating (she's got quite the appetite)
- Being a member of the Rangers (bein' a good guy!)
- Flying with Brute and Rawk/Racing the two while riding Engine (doesn't tell Kaine afterwords. He gets all huffy)
Dislikes:- Pravus
- The dark (It's always been a thing that's bothered her)
- Dark chocolate
- Clowns (It's probably the makeup, but those rainbow afro wigs are neat)
- Serious, life-or-death battling (makes her feel very uneasy (duh), but sometimes it brings out her darker personality)
- Forgetting things
- Being clumsy (running into walls and face-planting the floor is no fun)
- Her parents (maybe it's best not to ask why; it's a big trust issue now)
- Needles (she used to be just fine with them, but ever since Pravus, she's just terrified of the little things.)
- People who honestly think Rangers are 'pansies' or are 'goody-goody'.
- Being by herself
Physical Appearance Information:
Hair Color: Chocolate brown Eye Color: Blue/gray Height: 5’2” Build: A bit on the thin side, but that's only due to her size, really. She's healthy. And she's always been a bit toned, but ever since she began really training as an Agent, she's become pretty obviously fit and strong (though you'll never find that out 'till it's too late because she's always wearing that hoodie of hers).
Other Appearance Information: She’s rather short for her age, being only 5’2”, and is thin, so she’s really quite a tiny thing, as many people have commented (although she’s very sensitive about her height). But she is strong. She has muscle, and enough of it to be easily noticed should she take her hoodie off. This is due to her knowledge on how to fight (a skill passed down and taught to her by her mother). Though she hasn't seriously practiced in a while, the tone is still there.
Her eyes are a dull blue gray color (and the color mix changes with her emotions-Blue when she's happy, excited, or interested in something; and gray when she's upset or bored), and her hair color is close to that of chocolate (and this fact often makes her hungry for the stuff). On her right cheek is a small, almost unnoticeable scar in the shape of an 'X'. The war gave her several small scars, as wars do. There are small cuts along her right arm, from a fight she cannot remember (razor leaf mishap?), and a small pink burn mark on the center of her back, also from something her mind didn't allow her to remember.
Her favorite outfit, and the one she is usually found in, is a plain gray hooded sweatshirt and comfy jeans. Under the hoodie she usually wears short sleeved shirts or tank tops (her favorite tank top says ‘Kung Fu’ on it). Tennis shoes are a must, especially her favorite comfy black ones.
-After Pravus Kidnapping/Pokemorph Plot- Experimentation Aftermath: From head to toe, the girl is pretty much covered in scars. Nothing horribly marring, but enough to be easily noticed. Her arms are lined with horizontal pink lines, like stripes, and a few of the scars are wider than others where the cut was especially deep.
Scar ref.
Her belly has a total of four scars, though three of them stretch to her back as well. Both of her arms have four, all of them stripes. Her legs each have four as well, though on her right leg, instead of the smaller horizontal scars, there is a long vertical one stretching up her thigh. On her collarbone, on the left side of her neck, is another line that draws from her front to her back. And on her face, from the bottom of her chin and going up, almost to her cheek, is another scar. But her back got the worst of the damage, with a total of ten that show up. Six of the ten are on her back and her back alone (the four others showing on her front too). Three stripes along her back, and one vertical gash striking through them, a little off center from her spine. And above that, two ragged, tilted scars. And all these marks make her very self concious. She rarely ever takes her sweatshirt off now.
Pokemorph Changes (Steelix): On her right shoulder, there is a metallic, glossy spot. About as big as her closed fist. The spot is cool to the touch, and is in fact smooth like metal, but it's not hard; it's just as soft as the rest of her skin. The silver spot sort of fades into her normal skin color, like a gradient. That's the only real sign she's a Pokemorph, if that's much of a sign at all. The real changes happened inside of her body. Her normal, bone-skeleton was completely replaced with Steelix-strength steel. Now, Steelixes have extremely strong, diamond-tough skin (or whatever). So Skie's 'bones' are pretty much impossible to break. Also, a bullet to the head at long distance (or close but at an angle) will bounce/ricochet off (but a point-blank shot'll dent her skull and kill her). And a bullet anywhere else still does as much damage as it would have if she didn't have the Steelix skeleton. Unlike her mother (an Onix Pokemorph experiment who basically turned into a moving statue), Skie's skin didn't get tougher at all.
(excerpt from a rp post - a bit more in detail of the build and what-not of her skeleton) When that Pokemorph transformation was finally complete, walking had hurt. Steel was hard and stubborn, with very little, if any, give to it. Each step shoved delicate skin and muscles into the steel. The bottoms of her feet had bruised very easily and very quickly. But something weird started happening, only a short while after the change had been complete. Either her own body had responded to the mutation, or it was something Pravus had injected into her at some point, but the steel in her new skeleton started getting eaten away. It had terrified her and the doctors at first. What would happen to her should they disintegrate completely? But then it stopped. Whatever had happened left her steel bones full of little air holes almost. Little conjoining pockets, similar to the needle-like texture of regular human spongy bone. Still extremely strong, and much lighter (and indeed, the weight of solid steel bones had really slowed her down, and bruised her almost ridiculously fast-everywhere). The bruises began to fade, but each time she moved, even a little, the now-sharp edges in her bones cut at her a little. She was stuck in bed for a while, fed through an irritating little IV in her arm, because even moving to eat would slice up muscles and maybe even injure a vein. It didn’t take long for that problem to fix itself however. Almost immediately after the second change in her build was made, her body was quick to repair itself. An odd sort of tissue grew in the spaces of her bones, strong and malleable; not bone, but it was more similar to cartilage, if that. It filled the spaces and actually coated the outside of each metallic bone, leaving holes where they needed to be for the tendons and blood supply and things like that. But the steel no longer hurt her. And she felt, for the most part, like she had before anything had happened to her.
Other: Pokemon have heightened senses, I'm sure you all know; better than a human's (in most cases, anyway). Now, Skie cannot see in the dark, but Steelixes have very good hearing (as most cave/tunnel dwelling Pokemon do), and Skie has gotten a bit of that from the DNA. She can't hear a pin drop, but she picks things up better than she would have before. Like whispers across the room that would have sounded like quiet mumblings to her at one time, she can now understand (somewhat, depending on the distance). She also has a heightened adrenaline, that 'fight-or-flight' instinct everyone has. Her strength and speed get a pretty nice boost. And another thing: Skie cannot morph into a Steelix. Like her father (a Scyther Pokemorph experiment), her genes had some sort of glitch where doing so is just impossible. PPS: A few things have been discovered since she's left the hospital. One: She can't swim. Her steel skeleton causes her to sink. So. She's gonna need some water wings or something. And also, it's also been discovered that electricity doesn't really have an effect on her. Her young Pokemon Baxter has a tenancy to zap thing accidentally, and he accidentally zapped her. Nothing happened. Seelix are part ground types after all. It would make sense--so electricity doesn't do a thing, except maybe make a slight tingling feeling where it touches.
Personal Related Information:
Personality:
Around people... She's cheerful and friendly. She's very open and trusting, and she follows first impressions. She holds grudges if your first impression isn't too great. But, with a simple apology (or perhaps an ice cream cone) and she's quick to forgive. You don't need to be her closest friend to see every side of her, like some people who need to get to know someone before even smiling. However, she will not let herself cry in front of people (as it is a major pet peeve for people to pity her at all). She's loud, somewhat selfish (especially when sweets are involved), obnoxious (burping is not considered 'unladylike' in her book), and often doesn't realize how downright annoying she can be with her giddy persona.
Around her Pokemon... She's like the big sister. They're her best friends and family. And as such, she teases them often. She also loves playing games with them, such as rock paper scissors with Brute or the quiet game with Ace (he always wins). But her Pokemon sometimes (okay, make that 'frequently') like to get into arguments, especially between Ace and Brute. Engine and Rawk argue quite a bit also (but Skie knows this is because of Rawk's little crush on the powerful raptor Pokemon). She frequently needs to jump in the middle of fights between the the warring Pokemon, once again acting as the big sister, and break them up.
When faced with a challenge... She's very competitive. Especially if there's a prize involved. With a simple 'I bet I can beat you' Skie's riled up and ready to go. She doesn't like to not try. As long as she tries to win, even if she loses, she'll feel fine about it, and the victor will have her respect. But, also when losing, she'll often act quite kiddish. She's the kind of girl who prefurs to win. However, certain kinds of challenges do not work on her. Turning chores into a game will not work. If it doesn't sound fun, it's unlikely Skie won't do it without some sort of reward, like ice cream, or perhaps a comic book.
When angered... Well, this all depends on the reason she's angered. If she's angry over something like a dropped ice cream cone, she'll stomp a foot, maybe complain in a rather loud voice, and storm off to buy another one (or two). However, if she's angered about something like being insulted or even someone injuring a friend, every ounce of her cheerful, normal behavior vanishes behind solemn a mask with narrowed eyes and sometimes even bared teeth. She tends to become a lot louder when this angry also. Threats will be issued, and maybe a punch or two will be attempted, until she remembers that she's got Pokemon can breathe fire (and other nifty attacks), that is. Once an issue like that is solved, she stays grouchy for a while, arms crossed and serious.
Other snippits Skie's quite clumsy. She's often seen running into things, tripping over things, or slipping. She's a bit slow, but not at all stupid. Some things, like math, for instance, bother her. And when things bother her, she either ignores it, or complains about it. And although quick to jump at a challenge, she's quite the scaredy cat when it comes to a few things. Two, things, actually. The dark will make her scream and cling to the nearest thing possible. Spiders, not bugs really, but spiders in general (including spider pokemon) are far worse than the dark.
Other Persona" Hush now. I will take care of the troubles that haunt you so." During the war, Skie's mind simply could not handle the sight of so much bloodshed and violence. Sure, video games were one thing. But seeing something, be it human or Pokemon, clawed to death or have a limb torn off, broke part of her. She simply could not handle being in a serious life-or-death battle (which happened frequently during the war) without going into near hysterics in almost instinctive and dangerously primal protectiveness of her team. So, to handle this, simply put, a new personality was created to protect her. She is still Skie; she has all of her memories and responds to her name being called... But she is very different. This new Skie hasn't an ounce of the happiness the regular Skie basically radiates. She is serious, silent, glaring, and completely unmerciful to her enemy; and this is a good thing, as she only arises in serious fights where her team's life, as well as her own, are on the line. When she goes back into normal Skie's subconsciousness, the girl cannot remember the battle at all.
-After Pravus Kidnapping/Pokemorph Plot- Changes: Skie isn't all that different, despite what she's been through. She's still just as happy-go-lucky as before. Albeit, she is more cautious when it comes to certain things now. She has trouble trusting people at first. It's not that she thinks any of the Rangers or her friends are going to hurt her, but her mother was the one who took her to Pravus where she was then experimented on. It's just hard for her to see past that. But she still doesn't do the 'judge-a-book-by-its-cover' thing. She still gives people plenty of time to show their true colors before she gets a solid opinion on them.
And the numerous scars on her body now have made her very self-conscious. She almost never takes her sweatshirt off now, afraid of the marks being seen. It's stupid, but she feels guilty when people see her scars. Like she did something wrong to get them.
History: Skie grew up in nice two story home, surrounded with trees. It was a happy childhood. Her parents were somewhat odd. Their stereotypical roles were reversed. Her father (Jake) was the one who cleaned the house and cooked. While her mother (Elien) was the one who worked. Her mother was always the tough one, and she taught Skie how to climb trees, and skip rocks, and that pulling on the small hairs on the back of a guy's head (as she often did this to Skie's father when they got into the rare argument) really hurt.
She also had one older brother. His name was Gregory Gene. He was three years older, and she was always a bit jealous that he got a middle name. He left at the age of twelve to go on his own Poke-journey, leaving Skie at home to look forward to her own adventures. She often complained about a rule her slightly overprotective father had made, that she wasn't allowed to leave until she was sixteen.
However, the happy see-off from her home into her own adventure was never to be. One morning, on her fourteenth birthday in fact, Skie awoke to an empty house. Not a sound was heard in the usually loud residence. She would have heard her mother yelling at her father to get up. She would have heard her father exclaim his mush-gushy love for her mother and jump the stairs three at a time to make breakfast. She would have heard her mother's Tyranitar chase the pidgeys out of th back yard, and she would have certainly have heard her father's narcaleptic Arcanine and her littler of Growlithe pups snoring and yapping in the other room. But, she heard nothing.
Frightened, she rushed down the stairs after searching the second floor. She found the kitchen sink running and a frying pan on the lit stove. And whatever food substance that was in the frying pan was on fire. Panicking, she tried to douse the flames with a glass of water, but this seemed to anger the fire, and it spread. And so, standing in front of her yard on a cobblestone path her mother had built, Skie watched her happy family home burn and crumble, bringing down the trees nearest to it also.
And sure, she cried. She was fourteen, and watching your house burn down is reason enough for a fourteen year old to cry. She sat with her knees under her chin for hours and just stared at the blackening wood pile. Clueless on what to do next, and not knowing where to go as she had no neighbors, she stood and marched off the cobblestone path and into the forest, thinking possitive thoughts like 'at least the house was empty', and 'pretty soon I'll get some ice cream'.
And this ingenious plan of wandering the woods by herself got her lost. Overwhelmed and with the childish 'why me?' phrase echoing through her head, she stomped a foot and screamed in frustration at the top of her lungs. But, her roar of defiance was cut short as something soft pawed at her leg. She looked down, and to her extreme delight, saw one of her Father's Arcanine's Growlithe pups. Out of the three pups, this one was named Ace.
So, Ace and Skie wandered those woods, and were several times chased by the, so called 'not real' according to her father (he didn't want her to be scared to wander the forest, after all), resident Scyther. They formed an almost comedic rivalry. Scyther would pop up, say "Boo", and the two would run screaming in the opposite direction from the scary insect-like Pokemon.
One day, Skie and Ace were wandering through the woods, as usual, searching for some sort of standing building, when Ace heard a strangled yelp from somewhere. He followed it, and they came across a small charmander desperately trying to keep its tail above water as it splashed frantically in a rough looking river. Without hesitating, Skie dove in. She pulled the Charmander to safety, but in his panic, the little Pokemon with his flailing arms, accidentally swiped her, leaving a small 'X' shaped scar on her right cheek. This earned the Charmander his nickname, Brute, and Brute was quick to say sorry to his rescuer, and quick to ask if he could tag along. Ace, a bit peeved that the Charmander dare mar his best friend, basically said 'no way, Jose', but Skie let him join their little duo with a grin on her face.
I won't mention how many times Charmander attempted to look tough in front of Skie and Ace when the Scyther showed up again for his routine chase scene with them. Let's just say Brute got quite a few bruises on his chin from being dragged by a sprinting Skie.
And then, three months after watching her house burn down, and one month after rescuing Brute, the frizz-frazzled and dead-dog tired trio stumbled upon the town of Barkwish, the town of beginnings. Once her predicament had been explained to the local townspeople who looked at her ragged clothing and dirty hair with curious and concerned eyes, she was allowed to stay at the Pokemon Center as long as she earned her keep by helping the nurses and townsfolk anyway she could. Favors, deliveries, and baby-sitting both humans and Pokemon were among the many, many, many chores.
Not long after arriving at the Pokemon Center, when she was still fourteen, she met a man named Kaine McKallister. He started working at the Pokemon Center for specific reasons unknown, other than he was just volunteering. She instantly liked him, admiring his funny, clever attitude and the leader-like atmosphere around him. After getting to know him better when time passed, he became a sort of father figure to her, which was important to her as her own had vanished and part of her really needed someone like Kaine. Sadly—though it had to be expected—Kaine had to leave the Center on his own business, and Skie gave her reluctant goodbye.
But, honoring her father's rule, she would not embark on her Pokemon journey for badges and adventure until she was sixteen. So for nearly two years she waited, never letting Brute or Ace get into any battles so when their adventure started, it would not feel any different from any other trainer just starting out.
And on the day of her long awaited sixteenth birthday...she, Brute, and Ace, with an incredible bond of friendship and other such sappy emotions between them, set out on the long awaited journey into Remoor, hoping for fun adventures and good memories.
Right at the beginning of her journey, she made a fast friend. His name was Kai Makai. He was somewhat rude and mean, but Skie just grinned and teased, and after some time, he let himself smile around her. He was one of her best friends, and they traveled for a while, adventuring and battling and whatnot. However, the war started quickly, crushing the duo’s view of the future and what it held. They were split up sometime, though Skie cannot recall how or why, and she was left alone with her Pokemon to face the war and the unknown.
And the unknown brought war, chaos, destruction, and pain.
She knew of Team Pravus from what she’d heard, but never believed that Remoor would be in serious danger from them. She traveled about Remoor, training her Pokemon. Along with Brute the Charmander and Ace the Growlithe, a few more Pokemon joined her team. She bought the Aerodactyl Rawk at a shop, and instantly liked his personality and bravery. Engine was a mystery, as she was a species of Pokemon that was supposedly extinct, and Skie found her hiding in a bush, sick with a cold that she helped her heal from. The things they all experienced tightened the bonds they shared until the team was her family, not just her friends.
During the war and all its ferocity, she bumped into someone she really didn’t expect to see again; none other than Kaine McKallister. And with the two of them teamed up, she felt safe yet again. Sure, having a big tough Charizard and a huge and mean looking Aerodactyl comforted her, but to have Kaine with her again was a different kind of safe, she thought. Human friends were incredibly hard to find and make at the time, and poof, there was Kaine, and she had her father-like figure once again. They remained like that for a while, protecting one another when the time was needed, but once again Kaine had to leave, and the two of them had to split up once again, and Skie was left in the warzone once more.
Almost immediately after Kaine left, Brute evolved into a Charizard (which made him absolutely estatic and Ace absolutely jealous), and she found a small Poliwag injured and alone. She later named her Truffle after rescuing and fixing her up.
She can’t recall much that happened during the actual war itself, between Team Pravus, Mewtwo’s Clones, and Remoor’s horrified people after that. To put it plainly, young Skie was traumatized by it all. Skie was always the girl who avoided conflict, and being forced to witness to-the-death battles and being drawn into her own fights to protect herself and her Pokemon created a second persona that would show herself to deal with the serious, life-or-death battles.
Despite all of this, Skie held onto her happy-go-lucky and carefree personality outside of the battlefield.
During the aftermath of the war, and when she heard of the Rangers, she joined without hesitation. She’s willing to do anything to get the old Remoor back, and likes the idea of doing that as peacefully as they can. Plus, when she heard Legendary Pokemon often sided with the Rangers she freaked out, wondering if Pokemon gave out autographs. Another plus that came with joining the Rangers was finding her big brother, Gregory Gene, whom she had not seen or heard from since long before the war even started.
Characters Pokemon:
(Listed in the order she met them)
(No Pokeball) Name: Ace Species: Growlithe Gender: Male Age: 4 Level: 38 Experience: 1050 / 2100 Personality: Quick witted and intelligent, Ace, as Growlithes are supposed to be, is extremely loyal and protective of Skie. He's very gentlemanly towards females of any Pokemon species, and humans as well, but has an unusually short fuse for males, especially for Brute, Skie's Charizard.
When it comes to fighting, he'd rather watch one than participate. Unless of course, his pride was in question. He's a very proud Pokemon, and when Skie does ask him to fight in a match, he's more than willing to show off for his best friend and trainer
Attacks:- Bite
- Roar
- Flame Wheel
- Leer
- Flamethrower
- Fire Fang
- Return
- Endure
(No Pokeball) Name: Brute Species: Charizard Gender: Male Age: 4 Level: 47 Experience: 1257 / 2550 Personality: Brute, as his name implies, is a very pushy Pokemon. Like Skie, he throws tantrums or acts extremely grouchy when things don't go his way and is somewhat slow on the uptake. He's blunt, to the point, and doesn't like wasting time with anything. If he likes you, he likes you, if not, then he'll probably want to fight to see who's tougher.
Fighting is something Brute enjoys, but doesn't jump into a brawl without first checking to make sure Skie won't get angry, as Skie's really the only person (or Pokemon) he'll listen to seriously. Showing off is also something this big Charizard loves to do. His favorite rival of all time, is Skie's Growlithe Ace.
Attacks:- Bite
- Flamethrower
- Air Slash
- Dragon Claw
- Scary Face
- Shadow Claw
- Hyper Beam
- Fire Blast
Name: Rawk Species: Aerodactyl Gender: Male Age: 6 Level: 39 Experience: 1075 / 2150 Personality: This big brute is a tough guy, hard headed and temper flared. But he's really kind and sweet when you get to know him. He likes to pretend he's the bravest guy in the group, and this sparks arguments between Brute, the other hard-head in the team.
He likes to pretend to be the one who's in charge and has an 'I-could-care-less' attitude about him, but that's seen through easily when he's concerned enough about something. When you finally get passed his outside tough-guy shell, he's like a somewhat cuddly teddy bear (But calling him a 'teddy bear' is not advised.)
Attacks:- Wing Attack
- Supersonic
- Thunder Fang
- Ice Fang
- Agility
- Crunch
- Rock Smash
- Earthquake
Name: Engine Species: Juraptix Gender: Female Age: 3 Level: 38 Experience: 1050 / 2100 Personality: Cool and collected, she's the calmest of the group. She's a no-nonsense kind of girl, and frowns upon goofing off and doing anything not practical or sensical. Not one to smile easily, she's pretty much the opposite of anyone on the rest of her team. However, when her team is threatened, she will protect all of them with her life.
She doesn't like games, loud noises, or large groups of Pokemon or People. But, when she gets into a fight, her demeanor changes completely and she turns into a vicious and grinning battle-frenzied machine. Perhaps it's just built up stress
Attacks:- Harden
- Bite
- Quick Attack
- Rock Throw
- Earthquake
- Take Down
- Scratch
- Fury Attack
Name: Truffle Species: Poliwag Gender: Female Age: 2 Level: 22 Experience: 675 / 1350 Personality: Kind hearted and rather bubbly, she's a lot like Skie is in the personality department. She's goofy, loud, and loves bothering people when the urge strikes. However, she's got quite a few unique traits as well.
Unlike Skie, she's a bit of a health nut, and stays far away from anything that contains artificial flavoring or glucose (fancy name for sugar). She's also thinks decisions through much more thoroughly, going through all possibilities in her mind before making a choice. She's also a rather graceful creature, and loves hopping around and spinning
Attacks:- Water Pulse
- Bubble
- Hypnosis
- Double Slap
- Rain Dance
- Body Slam
- Ice Beam
- Blizzard
On her side, in the lavender fur, there is a small, cream colored heart. Name: Valentine Species: Rattatta Gender: Female Age: 1 Level: 14 Experience: 475 / 950 Personality: Bubbly, warm, and almost ridiculously affectionate, the name Valentine fits this little Rattatta very well (she's also got a very strong liking for Valentine candy hearts; pink are her favorite). She is often found on Skie's shoulder, nuzzled into the crook of the girl's neck (and this often gets Skie laughing, as her whiskers and fur are pretty ticklish). But honestly, she gets just damn snuggly with everyone, and she adores hugs and being pet. She's somewhat of an attention hog, though she doesn't mean to be.
Valentine is smaller than most other Rattattas, and is also very light, though she's not underweight or unhealthy. On the contrary, her fur is glossy and soft and her eyes are pink and bright. When it comes to fighting she's...not so great. Not that she can't, she just doesn't understand it very well yet. She's really only a baby still. But despite that she is very smart, and makes surprisingly mature decisions for someone her age. But still, she's got her head in the clouds most of the time, giggling and laughing at little jokes she makes up in her head, and then telling them a second later, expecting the little joke to be just as funny to everyone else.
Attacks:- Tackle
- Tail Whip
- Quick Attack
- Focus Energy
- Bite
- Persuit
Name: Monty Species: Nidoran Gender: Male Age: 1 Level: 13 Experience: 450 / 900 Personality: Eccentric, talkative, witty, and extremely bold and blunt, he's a Pokemon who's totally not afraid to speak his mind or shove his opinions in your face. He's got a quick tongue for someone so young, and will tell you about any faults of yours that may bother him without thinking of the consequences. He's boisterous and at times almost rude. But nonetheless he can be a little charmer. His way with words has some awfully good potential, and he loves cornering someone back into their incorrect-anythings (from opinions to facts, if he doesn't like it, he'll tell you so). But he's ridiculously chivalrous. And maybe that's something grown onto him by Ace, the Growlithe and the team's other Gentleman.
Despite all that, you wouldn't expect him to be really openly afraid of anything. But he is. Blunt as he is with everyone else, he's equally as honest with himself. If he's nervous or uneasy about something, he'll tell you so. His biggest fear, however, is small places. He's extremely claustrophobic, and hates the feeling of being closed in.
Attacks:- Leer
- Peck
- Focus Energy
- Double Kick
- Poison Sting
Name: Fillet Species: Corphish Gender: Male Age: 1 Level: 8 Experience: 325 / 650 Personality: Fillet is the drunken offspring of a sickeningly tacky and dramatic soap opera and a poet with no talent. Apparently he watched some sort of dumb/lame/horrible television show or read some cheesy/not-good/cheap poetry and thought it was the most incredible thing ever. He doesn't talk much, but when he does most prefer he just stop. He loves complaining ("why me?" "woe is me" "I can't go on! *ate too much breakfast and has a stomach ache*") and is rather...gullible as well. He'll fall for just about any trick.
Despite all that he's really a very good little Corphish. Being young's made him innocent and ignorant (which in itself can sometimes be a bother, but its a normal one). He's got his mind set on doing the right thing, and often likes to shout out, while in the midst of fixing some sort of problem (big or small, important or totally just not) "JUSTICE", usually in the loudest, most dramatic voice he can. ((It's a scene from when she was wandering the woods before she found Barkwish, before the war, and the Scyther shows up. *dramatic music*))
The sun shone lazily over the emerald green treetops of the forest. Bars of light shot down into the foilage below the canopy, and one bar happened to be on the face of a young fourteen year old girl, whom was sprawled on her back with a Growlithe on her shoulder and a Charmander flopped over her middrift on its stomach.
"Mmf," the young girl, who's name happened to be Skie, cracked one blue-gray eye open and groaned. Stupid sun, making her get up so early. She sat up, making the Charmander roll off with a surprised an indignant yelp, and the Growlithe's chin slid off her shoulder and onto the dirt. "Morning, boys." She stretched her arms over her head and blew a tangled piece of chocolate colored hair from her face.
"So!" she jumped energetically to her feet. "We're deffinately gonna find a building today! I can feel it!" she said. This was a daily routine now. Skie always said she felt as if a building was going to be found. The Growlithe, whose name was Ace, and the Charmander, whose name Brute, both nodded, grinning at the cheerful start of the cheerful morning. No doubt the day would go just great-
Snap
The trio froze. Uh oh.
"That," Skie said without moving, "was a snap. And we all know what snap means, right?"
Brute and Ace nodded.
The trio turned slowly, and their eyes rested on a tall, grinning, and deffinately smug looking Scyther. Its large duel claws were especially shiny today, Skie noticed.
"RUN FOR IT!" she turned to start running, and successfully got ten feet away, Ace by her side, when she heard Brute give a stubborn growl. Skie turned, frustrated. He always did this whenever Scyther showed up! "Brute! Get over here!"
Brute shook his head. Today was the day, he felt. The day he'd prove himself as a kick-ass little guy who could take on a fully grown (if not overgrown) Scyther. As he took in a large breathe to expell a more-than-deadly super-ember (that's what he called it in his head anyway), the Scyther regarding him with what was probobly amusement, the air was suddenly yanked out of his lungs in little more than a puff of smoke as he felt Skie's hand wrap around his tail and pull.
Aw man, he thought, not again.
And so, Skie took off agian, Brute in tow as he bumped and bounced behind her, Ace's laughs at the poor Charmander mixing with his freaked-out yelps as the Scyther swung at them from close behind.
Really now, these guys were just too much fun to chase.
