Personal Related Information:
Personality: Kano is usually a very calm person, but he has a very quick temper, though it is also quick to cool. He has a very eclectic idea of humor, ranging from small, harmless pranks to huge morale-degrading jokes (often used on an enemy when in a pokemon battle). However, when in a battle, especially a serious one, he can get really really cold and focus on the battle itself, making him one tough cookie.
On top of that, Kano is known to be very individualistic and likes doing things on his own, though he knows his own limits. He never really shares his thoughts or ideas with others well, leading some to believe that he is an enigma yet to be solved, kinda like a rubix cube. He is smart to an extent, but he is not a genius. There are odd quirks about how he does things that tend to annoy people as well.
When he really gets into what he's doing, there is no distracting him from his goal. Kano is really determined and hard-headed at times, which has the amazing ability of making people mad at him, especially when he just responds with a grunt or a shake of the head before going back to his work. When he's working, it's that and nothing else, which fits his motto of "Just do it".
History: When he was young, he was raised by his uncle, who was a mechanic, since his parents had been killed in a gang-related murder. Kano's family, both his parents and his uncle, were opposed to the Pravus Organization openly. They had tried to recruit his father, but he refused, leading to the supposed "gang-related murder". Kano, to this day, suspects that it was the underhanded motives of Pravus. His family was not extremely rich, but neither were they poor, in fact, they were quite influential, only adding to the reasons why Pravus would want them out of the picture. It was then Kano took a liking to tinkering and building mechanical items, even from an early age. His uncle was patient, and taught him what he needed to learn. It was a slow process, since Kano did not understand most of it at the time, but eventually he got better, and better, until his skills even surpassed his uncle's. By that time, he was 15, and he had the urge to go out and explore the world, with a few words of advice and two gifts from his uncle, Kano set out on a journey to explore Remoor and the wonders it held.
Sadly, it wasn't what he was expecting... What he saw did not match up to his Uncle's description... The land had been decimated. This enfuriated Kano so much, that he spent the next three years trying to find the culprit of the decimation. During this time, Pravus, then set their sights on Kano, because he was the relative of people who were opposed to them. At first they tried to recruit him, but Kano kept saying that he'd need to think about it, diverting them further. Once he found out, he began devising a plan to tear them apart from the inside, but when he heard of the size of the group, he tore his plans to shreds, then looked for an opposition group. By the age of 17, he had found it... The Rangers, a vigilante group fighting the corrupt organization known as Team Pravus.
Before he left his uncle's shop on his journey, however, he was given one thing that he will never part with: a pokemon. It was a torchic. It became Kano's best friend, even though it didn't listen to him for the most part at the beginning of their time together. However, that all changed when they first encountered Team Pravus. The grunt had tried to recruit them, for about the fifteenth time or so. His companion, who was still a torchic. The grunt, because he was unable to sway Kano into joining Team Pravus, decided, instead to silence the opposition, coming oh so close to capturing the torchic from Kano, but he interfered, taking his torchic back before the grunt could steal it. After that, the torchic evolved from the experience, into a combusken, and they have been friends ever since.
However, now they plot their plans for the next few years, and joining the Rangers is top priority on that list, now is their time to take back what they care for most: the peace and tranquility of Remoor. Characters Pokemon:
Name: Ryvn Gender: Male Species: Blaziken Age: 5 years Level: 36 Personality: Ryvn tends to be a bit on the hasty side, always trying to get things done quickly. There were times when he would ignore a command completely, but that changed when he was nearly lost to a Pravus member. He can be calm, but he'd rather be ahead of the game and finish things so he can relax. Long story short, he's not really lazy, he just likes relaxing. ( At least five sentences) Attacks:
- Blast Burn
- Blaze Kick
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Sky Uppercut
- Double Kick
Role Playing Sample: Liam stood up silently, his eyes closed as he put the instrument away, letting the bag rest silently on the ground. His hair fell into his eyes more and he moved them out of the way. He said nothing yet, but his mind urged to speak, it was obvious in the way his eyes appeared. He was more mature than his brother was, older and much more calm, wheras his younger brother was a firebrand and an unbelievably outgoing person. As Liam looked up, his eyes opened, showing their olive green shade. He smiled slightly and bowed to the woman respectfully, hands leaving his sides in a calm bow. "I did come from far away. Near the Hadarac Desert." He stated simply. "But that was years ago... All other information has been pushed to the back of my mind and I have not made an effort to remember." He replied to her, voice calm, smooth, and soft, almost like water itself. His mind enclosed itself, but the barrier wasn't that strong, at least not here. It was just to hold itself back that way he didn't overwhelm this person he was talking to.
As his body shifted, he looked up at the woman with an intense gaze, eyes locked with hers, making him more nervous than he expected to be. "I do have a name. Liam... Liam Inazuma." He replied calmly. "Swordsmith by trade and now traveler. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." His voice held a bit more pride in his work now, he had finally been able to introduce himself though the ideas couldn't stop moving from his mind to his lips after he gave his name. He had to keep the conversation going, even if it was just to avoid awkward silences. He smiled slightly and moved over to his bag, picking it up and resting it on his back, a fairly deep indent in the ground where the bag had rested and was now relieved of. For some reason this woman reminded him of a friend from his village before he left. A young human woman, fair by human standards, was his best friend when he was finishing his apprenticeship. The nights by the river on the plains while the full moon rose above them and they would sit talking even as the night retired and the sun rose to illuminate another warm day on the grassy plains. The best days of his life before he left in search of his meaning... Never relenting, always remembering the days with his friend, or even girlfriend, in his home village who had his heart always, no matter the seasons, nor the time of day. He knew it wouldn't work, he was mostly elf.... and she was human. She would die before him, leaving a hole in his heart. The more he thought about how he told her, the more he had to frown, she understood though, she, however, remained a friend to him and a friend to his family, which he liked. He had to go back to visit her one of these days. It had only been a year or so since he had left, he still had time. As he snapped out of his reminiscing, he looked up at the elf woman. The human girl he had been friends with definitely wasn't as beautiful, but in some aspects of their physical feature, remained similar in great amounts.
"You... You remind me of a friend of mine..." He said calmly, thinking, remembering... "Liam... where's Kano?" A young woman asked, looking around the forge, walking towards Liam, who stood hunched over an anvil, working on a piece of wrought artwork. "I don't know... Last I remember he said he would be at the river, you should check there first... Even better, I'll come with you." Liam said looking up with a smile, putting his smock down and walking over. "Oh. Okay... Let's go then." the young woman said with a smile. Definite tomboy attitude for someone of her age. Liam chuckled and led her out of the forge, heading down the single street in which the town was set on. As they approached a large copse of trees, Liam began looking around then hopped a small stone wall that began the bridge that covered the small river. "Hey! Kano!" Liam said, laughing loudly, running up to Kano, who sat fishing at the river. Kano looked up, smiling. "Liam! Aerin! Glad to see ya. You here to pass the day too?" The younger Kano said with a wide, childish grin. Liam remembered, that was when Kano was only 11, too young to start apprenticing, but old enough to run errands. All of his errands were done for the day, so he came to the river to fish. Both he and Kano enjoyed fishing on their free time, of which his was limited since he was apprenticing. "Mind if we join you?" Aerin asked, sitting down between Kano and Liam. Kano chuckled. "I guess I don't have a choice." At that statement, both Aerin and Liam laughed.... Liam smiled. Good times when he was younger. Now he saw the world as it was, not through the rose colored glasses of a young boy. The world was cruel, harsh, yet it had beauty to it as well. It was only natural to be in love with the wild untamed vastness of the wilderness in which people attempted to live.... Then he diverted his attention back to the elf woman, in his mind it was like hours, but outside of his flashback it was only really a minute or two. "Anyways... Sorry 'bout that... I was having a flash-back." He said calmly, blinking. "It's just that you remind me a lot of a friend me and my brother had back in our home village." He added afterwards, staying calm. He really was nervous, especially around women. He was never expecting to be near an elven woman so quickly... and he had only been in Elesmera for only an hour or so. As he looked up at her, his olive green eyes caught hers again, showing a vague amount of interest and nervousness that showed through the calm, reserved complexion on his face. An elf would have been able to notice it, but a normal person, unless they were keen in perception, or a mage, would not have figured it out. The reason for his interest in the woman was that the only elven woman he had ever known was his mother. At this he had to suppress another flash-back, not wanting to zone-out.

A few problems. I suggest you reread the rules firstoff, we have a little cliff to catch those who did not read the rules. Also glance at the rangers--to find out what your rank is officially called. - Personality is much too short-- it needs to at least triple in size. What ish el ike around other people? Is he talkative? Friendly? Naiive? Smart? Independent? What happens when he encounters a fear or dislike? Dive in--don't toe the surface. He is yours play with him. What happens when he finds a new project? What kind of mechanical projects interest him? Where are his tools?
- Same with appearence. What style is his hair in? What color is his skin? Does he have any scars or birthmarks? What do the goggles look like? Facial hair? How clean is he? How does he normally walk--with a swagger or ... ?
- Why did Pravus attack Kano? They do not do so unprovoked. Much less to steal a Torchic. The history needs to be expanded. What was his uncle like? Was his house poor or rich? What happened to him during the war? Where did that nick-name come from?
Nice RP sample by the way.

(I'm sorry about the size, it was late at night and I didn't feel like expanding... I was literally falling asleep in my chair. Anyways, thanks for the help.)
