. His eyes trailed down to see his Glaceon, her matching coat and eyes shining brilliant in the fading sun's light. The man raised a brow and smiled, which seemed to oddly appear mistmatched. It quickly vanished, however, and he tilted his head as the Pokemon began to, what seemed to be, coversating with her master. He simply nodded in response and headed down toward a small pond. "Miss Mokoto, won't you join us?" His voice was deep, but it fit him well. The man stood at roughly 6'3", and though it was hard to tell beneath the jacket he seemed to be a good-sized fellow. From his pocket came a Pokeball from which he released a Lapras. The pond was big and housed quite a number of other creatures, so Lapras took up little space. Makoto, as she was called, stretched thankfully and looked down at her trainer. Glaceon opened her small mouth and released a small beam that froze over a small portion of the pond and some of the land before it. She then hopped onto the frozen ice to meet with Makoto beyong it. "Be careful, Haruka," The male warned, pulling out two more Pokeballs. "Alright, little Miss Nori and Daisuke. Come on out." He released from then a Sneasel and a Snover. The Snover gladly rushed into the small pile of snow and fell over, quickly falling asleep while Sneasel stood by her trainer and looked about carefully. The trainer sat down in the grass and watched his Pokemon interact with one another, but all of them stuck close and didn't bother to interact with the other Pokemon nearby. Isn't that what this was all about? Socializing? Gosh, guys. You're all as bad as I am, if not worse... Well, maybe you're better, but this is still bad.He sighed heavily, closing his eyes as he let his back touch the grass and soon enough his head. Frustrated with nothing interesting around, Sneasel cuddled up next to her trainer and closed her own eyes. I woner if anything interesting will happen...[/ul]

Thank the lord that every day ends in a night, a peaceful night, ones that I can enjoy, without the busy bother of a day. And without this bother, I feel like I can do alot more then in day. Only real downside is that all the stores are closed, but we know, that the people who work in the stores, are doing the same as us, being thankful the day ended, with such releif. Riakai thought as he walked through the park. This place wasn't too busy, not like the day anways, the annoying hot dog vendors weren't screaming and screaming, I guess that makes it better? Riakai was wearing his most usual uniform, his brown and black robe, with all his pokeballs stuffed in a side pocket. Just being put into Pravus, didn't feel like such a big of a deal as it did before Riakai joined, which explained why he was out here in the park anyway, nothing to do regarding Pravus.
Riakai kept his hands stuffed away in his pockets, staring forward. Riakai then heard a sound, it sounded like a pokemon being released, he heard a faint voice to, it didn't seem like a kid, more like someone his age, and the sound, "Perhaps a good trainer.." Riakai said silently and to himself, Riakai turned his head. First thing his Riakai, this guy favored ice. What are the odds, Riakai was a water trainer. Chances were Riakai would get beaten. But, he couldn't just stop because of some type difference. Riakai took several steps towards the man, his feet brushing silently against the cold grass. The man then laid down.
First thought: HOMELESS! Second thought: Needed some rest.. Then again, he had nice clothing, so yeah, he just needed rest. By the looks of it, those ice pokemon were tiring him out a bit. Riakai took a few more steps forward, these steps a bit more faster, and not as quiet. Finally he reached a point where he was only a few steps behind the man. Riakai looked down, seeing a pokemon cuddle with him. Strange... but Okay I guess. A proper greeting, hmm...
Riakai dropped a pokeball down, at his left, it popping open and revealing Floatzel. Floatzel stared down at the man, "Float?" It said tilting its head. Riakai then dropped another pokemon to his right, revealing Lame the Lombre. Lame bursted out, and immediatly did a ballerina spin. Riakai stared down at him, giving him a quick glance, which Lame knew meant to stop. Lame and Jake then saw the ice pokemon, not flinching once. Ice pokemon, won't be able to stop us, I.. think we're strong enough, was the thought that crossed Lame's mind. While Jake only had one thought, Pathetic. Why? Because Jake was a good underestimater, or.. as least it would seem in a situation as of this.
Riakai then spoke, putting both hands back into his pockets. "Hello." You could tell he wasn't exactly a expert with socializing and communication, he didn't know much to say, only think. Riakai then took a step backwards, giving the man some space to stand up, now that the pokemon were around him. Riakai continued, "I'm Riakai, I major in water types." Ha, you may have noticed he mentioned that, which wouldn't be to smart, but he just wanted a fight.

The boy thought to himself, Knowing what you're saying."Glace!" A sharp yip came as Glaceon approached, well aware of the potential battle. The man simply sighed and made an attempt to sit up as the other spoke. "Water type, hm?" He spoke quietly, mostly to himself as he reached full height. He still a few inches taller than the other man, and possibly a few more thanks to the thickness of the boots he wore, but at this angle they appeared roughly the same height. He had been laying on a hill and this other trainer stood on higher ground. "I go by NC, if you will," he spoke calmly, looking down at the Riakai's Pokemon. This one seems rather confident. No, rather like he is full of himself. The Lombre, however, is more relaxed. Just my type of Pokemon, personality-wise, but not my element. There is apparently nothing more, unless he is simply holding back weaker Pokemon. I suppose that is a possibility, but in that case not a worry. The confident one just might be his strongest, currently, but that doesn't mean he will win."Are you looking for a battle, kid?" He didn't exactly look younger, but it was the feel that NC got that made him believe this other was at least a year or two below him, if not more. Lapras watched from a distance while Snover still slept in his snowy pile. Glaceon stood at her master's side proudly while Sneasel wiggled eagerly. The man, unbeknown to this new arrival was a Pokemorph, and to be more exact he was the morph of a Glaceon. This wasn't of any importance, but it signified- if the boy was smart enough to make the connection- that he was likely involved in some way or another with the Pravus. And he was, in fact, a Private there. Old enough to be a Colonel, however, but he would need to beef up his Pokemon just a bit more before he reached this. That rank was, in fact, just a small goal for him. Show me what you've got, kid. This may, in fact, be more relaxing then just laying there.[/ul]

Riakai and his Pokemon couldn't help but continue to stare at the Pokemon. The Sneasel just smiled, and of course Lombre smiled back. Then it extended its claws out, seeming as if it wanted to tear Lombre or Floatzel apart. Course, Floatzel opened his mouth, growling silently as he showed off his sharp teeth to the Sneasel, only to stop when the Sneasel was forced to stop by the trainer, who was oddly still relaxed, which also concerned Riakai. Then a Glaceon came up, with a voice that pierced into their ears. God, these Pokemon are annoying. Riakai thought. Riakai, Floatzel and Lame then heard a few words from the man's voice, far too silent for them to actually pick up what he was saying, but going by how relaxed this man was for this whole entire time, Riakai could guess it was not a insult, while Lombre could care less, and Jake just stared at NC, trying to figure out what he was saying by replying what he had said silently over and over in his mind, finally figuring out the word, "Water" but nothing else.
NC? Weird name, but I guess from a guy as strange as this, you couldn't expect much. All of NC's Pokemon seemed to be at attention, or as Riakai thought. So Riakai pulled out a poke-ball, releasing it behind Floatzel. The Pill, the Piplup busted from the poke-ball, the only Pokemon on Raikai's team that was yet to be trained, yet to be in a fight. Floatzel quickly moved to the left, now directly in front of Riakai. Now Riakai had his full team out, his set up, Jake the main man, Lombre the Left Hand, and Pill the Right Hand. Now, this layout was still being laid out, because Pill hadn't been tested yet, but it wasn't hard to have a better personality then Lombre in Raikai's mind.
The grin that was simply always on Riakai's face, grew, a teeny bit as the man brought up the idea of a fight. Well, actually, Riakai tried very hard to bring up that idea, NC just had to blurt it out in the actual word. Riakai couldn't help but notice he called him "kid". "Kid" wasn't exactly correct, people use "kid" when they are to say to someone, that you are younger, and you have to listen, or, follow and learn. You get the idea, as if NC was setting up a role model role for himself. Pity, so much Pokemon and all he wants is to set up rolemodelship. Then again, the word "fight" was used in a role model's sentence, meaning this guy was actually trying to connect to Riakai, in the way that Riakai loved to battle. Odd Dude, seriously, cuz the thought just slipped Raikai's mind as he began to think about the options of a battle.
Riakai nodded in agreement to the battle, although the way NC reacted, the way he asked the question, made it seem as if he were not asking for a battle, but trying to get Riakai, the pest in NC's mind, away. Then again, he could be just some freaky man, speaking of freaky, he didn't look altogether normal. But Riakai couldn't exactly point it out. Riakai then spoke, slowly but surely, "I would like a battle." Riakai continued to smile, but as he said this, he tried to make his smile grow yet even a bit more, then made it back to regular size. To emphasize his words, without even putting emphasis in his voice."How would 3 rounds of 1 on 1s sound to you?"

have been a smile as Riakai nodded. So a battle it would be. Likely, if this were the number of Pokemon he had, it would either be all on all or three on three. If that was so, Glaceon was an automatic choice. Next would be Lapras and Sneasel. Haruka, Makoto and Nori. Snover would be satisfied resting while the battle went on, and NC honestly tried to leave him out of most battles. Hopefully this would be something short and enjoyable so NC, himself, could go sleep somewhere. "Three rounds of one on one sounds perfect. Choose your starter and we can begin at any time." He shrugged softly and stepped back some, his Pokemon now at his sides rather than directly behind him. This team, however, was certainly temporary. Glaceon to his left, Sneasel to his right, and Lapras would surely by up front. His own preference would include Glaceon at front, Lapras to his right and Sneasel to his left, but this wasn't of great importance. He didn't put his Pokemon in powered positions. He simply chose to have them at his sides as his equals, considering he, himself, according to his DNA wwasn't much different from these Pokemon.[/ul]

Riakai now saw a Snover walk up, to seemingly join in on the action, if he was to battle in the first place. Riakai shifted his eyes to stare at all of NC's pokemon. About all of these had the same advantage, Riakai could hardly hit them. The only thing that would aggrivate Riakai even more is that if this man used the Lapras... Its ability "Water Absorb" would make all water type attacks coming from Riakai's team simply heal Lapras. All Riakai had to do, is when the time came to fight Lapras, if it was used, was to constantly remind himself that Lapras has that ability, which would be hard, especially in the heat of a battle. Riakai then shifted his eyes back to NC, if he was smart enough, he would definitly use Lapras, but.. there is always a possibilty NC didn't know about the fact that Lapras did have the ability.
Riakai mentally jumped in excitement (as in, in his mind) about NC's first response: "perfect" was the word he used. Good word actually, although, if this NC was seeing the potential that Riakai could/might have, then this wouldn't exactly be "perfect", it would more likely be, "Okay, I guess." But from seeing how NC had reacted so far, he wouldn't use "guess" he would have to use "perfect" like a little pussy, "pussy" hehe.. good word. But.. Then again, Riakai couldn't use the word "pussy" to define this man, he had the will to challenge Riakai, which in Riakai's mind (probably not many others) it took alot to actually battle Riakai, and beleive it was "perfect".
Anywho, he then heard his next question. "Starter"... Hmm... What would Riakai use, in natural fact, Riakai wanted NC to pick first, so Riakai had some kind of advantage. But NC didn't seem like the kind of guy to take advantage of what pokemon a person chose. Then again, it was very possible, alot of people took advantage of Riakai in his lifetime, even when it seemed as if they wouldn't. A perfect time to relate to tic-tac-toe, Which Riakai used to play a long while back. Placing your X or your O in first in the very beginning, can sometimes mean you've already lost.
Anywho, once more.. (I say that way to often) Riakai then knew his starter, Lame. Why Lame? Because it would be a okay starter, no disadvantage to Ice, and some nice Grass moves to top it off.Riakai spoke surely and confidently, "Lame, why don't you give it a try in this first match, I'm sure you can take on many threats, despite our difference in personality, you can win if you try. Now, try not to slack too much and get out there." Lame leaped forward, doing a quick flip through the air and landing on his feet, "LOMBREE!!" It yelled in excitement. "Your turn." Riakai added silently.
