The Player:
OOC Account: Cerbero Rath. Age: 19. Still. :[ Activity Level: Preeeeeetty active. Unless you're talking about my muses. :l They go into comas a lot lately. Other Characters: Faolan/Feng.
Basic Character Information:
Name: Rayquaza Alias: None Gender: None, though if required most have come to see Rayquaza being as more of a male sex than anything [yes, despite the "lipstick"]. Age: Unknown -- not like many have seen it to actually keep count. Rayquaza's first rumored sighting is documented over one hundred years ago atop the Sky Pillar, so more than likely it's got a few years under its belt. Alleigance: Neutral, though against anything that invades its territory. Position: Legendary. Species: Rayquaza. Sexuality: Asexual.
Hobbies:- Perpetual flight.
- Weather formations.
- Vigilance, especially around its territory.
Likes:- High altitudes.
- Thermal rays.
- The scenery from the ozone layer.
Dislikes:- Trespassers.
- Foolishness.
- Filth.
Physical Appearance Information:
Hair Color: N/A Eye Color: A luminescent yellow, with the sclera being a pitch-black color. On closer inspection the rim of the iris appears to be outlined in red, though it could just be a trick of the light. Height: 23'00, 455.2 lbs Build: There's not much there and in all truthfulness Rayquaza closely resembles a train than anything else, with all the little segments of its body often appearing disjointed instead of fluid and seamless, although this isn't necessarily true in flight.
Other Appearance Information: Along the length of his body run an assorted pattern of yellow rings, the hue of which closely matches his eyes. There are various "rudders" protruding from every other segment on its body, most likely for the purposes involving aerodynamics. Its arms are short, though it has rather pointed claws adorning each of its fingers. The tail is fin-shaped, almost like that of a Vaporeon but slightly more straight in contrast to the curvy nature of the other's tail. Atop its head are horn-like protrusions jutting out with a similar set located along the lower jaw. Rayquaza's head is slightly curved, its brow appearing to be in a constant furrowed state, though still sleek like the rest of its body. There is a small set of teeth in its mouth, with the "lips" itself outlined in red along with the edges of its tail and rudders.
Personal Related Information:
Personality: Elitist? Maybe. Rayquaza is very, very territorial and will not pull back any stops in order to eradicate the trespassers from its deemed home. There are those that it does permit to wander about on its lands, but as of late things seem to have taken a turn for the worse and Rayquaza has started to target multiple groups of people, wary of who would prove to be a threat later on down the line. If you have stepped onto the few bits of earth and patches of land Rayquaza has claimed as its own and not underwent any sort of hostility or disastrous occurrence, it doesn't mean that it likes you; you're just being tolerated.
At first glance Rayquaza may seem calm, despite the feral demeanor it exudes, but cross it and a vicious storm of hatred will rain down swiftly upon all foes. Like some of the other legendaries, it prefers its solitude and frequents the ozone layer high above the sky, out of reach, sight, and mind of those foolhardy humans and their destructive wars. Don't take this to mean that Rayquaza preaches love and peace all over the country; far from it. As a matter of fact many instances of people invading and threatening its territory have often been met with a Hyper Beam, Twister or a various other assortment of chaotic attacks in its arsenal that most often cause more harm than good. There is really no set reason for this; Rayquaza simply believes in the ideal of eradicating all threats in as efficient a manner as possible.
This thought seems to hold true for any conflicts on its territory and all the humans involved whether they be good or bad. If you start a fight and start bringing out a whole arsenal of pokemon, bioweaponry and the like, you can expect this green dragon to be making an appearance sometime soon. However, like the conflicts with Groudon and Kyogre, it will not make an appearance until the fight has escalated to disastrous levels. Even then, do not expect it to pick a side; Rayquaza will simply attack all those involved with the intent to erase their troublesome existence from the earth. Or just drive them out of its territory, depending on the survival rate.
Despite this, there seems to be a traditional sort of quality to Rayquaza's personality and demeanor. Rayquaza has lived long and seen much, though pokemorphs aren't necessarily a part of the list of things it's seen. There is, naturally, a bit of hostility and disgust when it comes across such a being and it will not hold anything back should any pokemorph strike. It doesn't matter if the creature is a victim, descendant of other pokemon or a legendary taking the form of one. Rayquaza still believes they are an act against Arceus and shows no respect to them.
History: Rayquaza has existed for--- well, for a rather long period of time. Certainly it has got a bit more world-experience and years on it than a few of the other pokemon that have been running around the regions, and maybe that is one of the reasons why it finds itself put off so by the recent changes in the pokemon world. Pokemorphs, forced hybrids, clones; all these are things which does not suit it at all, and provide the basis for the reason why Rayquaza stays in the ozone for frequent periods of time.
For several years this has been its lifestyle. With the chaos brought about whenever some foolhardy human sees fit to summon Kyogre and Groudon -- who inevitably do battle -- Rayquaza has had to come down and put things in order with a destructive method of its own, though on the rare occasions it has settled the conflict and hostility between the opposing pokemon with a simple roar of warning and a talking to. When the threats of excessive land and water has subsided, and both legendary beasts quelled, it flies away back up into the heavens to resume business as usual, or to the Sky Pillar in one of the regions scattered throughout the world to rest itself until its next flight.
The goings on in the Remoor Region had escaped its eye, if only because while this was going on Rayquaza had been slumbering away without a care in the world, perched high atop the Pillar. Too many times had it seen battle between these humans, and while this one was not as simple as the last ones, it escalated nonetheless to bitter, chaotic ends. The destruction of the land was a hard blow to Rayquaza's pride-- for the sole reason that there had been a few buildings and non-burnt patches of land that it had laid claim to eons ago-- but it quelled the beginnings of vengeful notions with the idea that these foolish humans would learn their lesson in due time, and come to see the horrors which they had wrought upon themselves. Despite being territorial and hostile to all, there was still some inkling of common sense left in Rayquaza's mind. There was no point in feuding over a land that had already been burnt and pillaged, and in doing so it would only cause further destruction to his beloved territory.
The battle over and the land in disarray, Rayquaza returned to the sky up above to continue its perpetual flight, the belief that these humans had destroyed themselves enough to do any further damage to the region rooted firmly in its mind.
That is, until it caught wind of the stoking fires that lay beneath the rubble of Remoor, and the three groups involved once more.
Hatred blossomed deep within its breast at the ignorant ways of these humans and their allies and it was then that Rayquaza made up its mind. The first battle over Remoor without its interference had been a warning, despite it not having done anything to punish them. Surely the destruction the humans had wrought upon their land would serve as punishment enough? Apparently this would not be so.
The last vestiges of the Remoor Region that were left intact were under Rayquaza's possession now. The Nada Citadel, in particular, was the sole territory in the region of Remoor that was enough to warrant any aggressive action from the Legendary creature. Should any group desecrate or destroy the Citadel in any way, no matter what faction, good or bad--- Rayquaza will come down again, and it will annihilate them all without a moment's thought.
