Personality:
Cyndaquil has a very timid nature about him, yet a curious upbringing when nobody else is around. He isn't known to be very outgoing, or very ambitious by his peers. In fact, he seems somewhat like a crybaby, unable to handle drastic changes. In many situations, he finds lying or excuses to be bad, and can never seem to be in a situation where he can't tell the truth.
Cyndaquil is not often seen with company, especially in this new Remoor. Traveling alone in an environment where fellow Pokemon are getting scarce by the moment, he feels more pressure to keep looking for somewhere where he can feel a peer among other peers, and able to appreciate others just as they would normally be. The gist of it would be: A longing for companionship.
No one can honestly tell what he thinks or how he feels, his shut eyes denoting no honest expression that can possibly be diverse. While his tone is timid and curious, signs of happiness, sorrow or anger can barely be detected. Truly, Cyndaquil is a confusing Pokemon among his species.
History:
There is not much a difference between the Cyndaquil and other Pokemon when it would come to history. Bred by Pokemon breeders that are hoping to help preserve Remoor by way of introducing more and more Pokemon to stimulate the populace. His father was a brazen Infernape, mother figure a supportive Typhlosion.
He was just one of multiple eggs birthed by the Pokemon caretakers. Raised well in captivity, he and his hatchling siblings had a somewhat coddled life. Each of the children were taken to different places. Some were sent to the Pokemon Rangers to continue training. Others were presented to Researchers to decide as to where they should place or set up Pokemon. However, a large group of them were sent to the wild areas of Isabella Plains to help stimulate the ebb and flow of the population.
The unfortunate ones were pulled away by Pravus as a simple caught Pokemon to be trained for their ulterior motives, while luckier ones were caught by aspiring Trainers hoping to make a start once more to assist in the efforts of training or pushing back Pravus forces in the humble town. The least likely fate would most likely have been turned to produce clones for Mewtwo's large army. Cyndaquil was one of the few who were sent into the wild, and remained there.
However, he thought differently. Isabella Plains was quite the large place for the Cyndaquil to thrive in, yet most of them were either pulled away by trainers or other forces. They had retreated to areas considered perfectly tailored for Fire types. Cyndaquil himself decided to traverse around for company, yet his luck seems very short. Not yet has the stalwart Pokemon found anywhere to call home, nobody to see company.
It's no pity story, yet he still acts as a pilgrim-like spirit- 'retreating' to the 'new worlds' that lie ahead. The work, however, will be tough for the small Fire-type in a more barren Remoor.
Role Playing Sample:
Flower Fields. A haven for Grass and Bug Pokemon in a world where fertility remains slow in the precipice. While not exactly phrased in the sense of company when it comes to such a place, this Fire-type Cyndaquil decides to try his hand at finding company, friendship, or anything of life to him. Exiting a winding forest, he finds himself in the clearing that leads to the large fields of flowers. A vista of rolling hills containing a myriad of colors is within sight. Perhaps here, he can find refuge. The issue, however, remains that fire is a large outlier in such a place that rejects the threat of constant flames.
Running in order to examine the place of all of its natural beauty, he is alarmed to the scent of these flowers. Soothed thoroughly, his fleeted steps slow and dim to that of simple, slow steps of leisure. Naturally, now Cyndaquil feels a large desire to simply bask in the ambiance. The environment, the air, everything seems crisp and natural, unlike the twisted, industrious steel he had been forced to experienced for such a time in his kindred travels. It is now apparent that the reputation of a haven for grassy Pokemon- no, many Pokemon, can be considered true.
What kind.... What kind.... What kind of dangers could possibly come here? It just.. feels at home here. I might like volcanoes or fires more, but this place.. it calms the want for burning. Turning over on his back, he embraced the majesty of the colors abound, the grace that can be realized from the scent, and the crisp feeling of soil. The lands of grass belie the chaos that surrounds. Who would want to fight here? What would that bring? If I... The Fire Mouse imagined the terrible hypothetical sight of a burning field, caused by a single ember. Fire could easily spread across, even reaching toward the forest until the area becomes a barren land, just as the rest become.
