austin is rather lanky with no muscle and looks pretty thin. his black hair reaches past his ears down to his neck and has a pair of black eyes to match. his skin is pretty pale from staying inside so much since he isn't an outdoorsy person. the cat ears & tail are fake. why have them? well when he was a kid his sisters always dressed him up as a girl in many different outfits, most of them including those cat ears & tail. he just keeps them as a memory keepsake. overall he looks rather like a girl since he has such a frail frame and semi-long hair. not to mention the cat ears.

his clothes also are a bit girlish from always being dressed up as one. he also likes fashion so he'll try to be trendy. he'll wear high heeled shoes to make him look taller and a few other pieces of girlish clothing including skirts but he wears pants with them. he's not gender confused he just likes them. but the one thing you'll see him with all the time is a big hoodie with a fur trimming. it's his favorite article of clothing and would wear it all the time if he could.

not the most social guy, you'll notice. he's rather quiet and an observant fellow. he'll talk if necessary or if you ask him a question sometimes but prefers to keep to himself most of the time. he find people rather annoying and prefers to not to socialize with others. people often find him to be rude simply because he won't return a hello or say hi, but he's not trying to purposely seem rude. he just doesn't talk much.

he's curious, seeing as he'll observe you quiet obviously before talking to you at all. it's a little weird, but he likes to figure you out before trying to talk to you. he's pretty good at guessing what you do for a living and a few other personal things from observing you. he also believes appearances are everything, so if you look bad you probably act the same way. the first words he'll ever say to you will probably include something about what you're wearing.

he's very irritable especially if you're loud or energetic. he won't get aggressive or physical, but will shoot you glares or looks that say 'shut up!'. he'll never go beyond that usually but if you really rack his nerves he'll talk to you sternly. he doesn't yell simply because it's loud.

he can become easily distracted and will often drift off into his own fantasy world when people are talking for long periods of time or when he just doesn't understand what you're talking about. he day dreams a lot about almost anything. it's hard to know what he's thinking since he always has a rather blank face

History:

what could be worse being the only boy with six sisters? when they call you a girl and dress you up as one all the time. that's how it was for austin. he was born as the youngest in a family with one dad, one mom and six sisters. his family was a bit wealthy since his father had been a great pokemon trainer in his time and often judged contests so they lived a luxurious life. however he was often mauled by his sisters and their love of dressing him up. sometimes his sisters took him outside looking like a girl, which lead to other kids making fun of him which made him a but antisocial. but he never objected to them dressing him up, because he actually enjoyed it sometimes and at one point he actually thought that he was girl.

but that life was short lived. a rift began to grow between his parents, and eventually they got a divorce. his mom took all his sisters while his dad kept him and she moved away from remoor. his hate to his father grew as time went by. his father hated the fact that austin would go out dressed in a weird fashion and always scolded him for it, and eventually they both ended up despising each other. austin swore that the day he turned old enough he would move out from that house. his wrote notes to his sister marry alice, the third oldest since he was always so close to her and sometimes received letters from his other sisters too. he always tried to keep close to them since they all were close when they were little.

he was only about fifteen when the war started. the town he lived in was attacked. the last thing he remembered was being knocked out, and then waking up to a city in ruin and being all alone. without anyone around he left on his own and found himself in the wild. a lot of pokemon were around, along with a few aggresive dog pokemon, who were angered when they found austin eating a few berries off their bush. they were about to attack when a small cubone jumped out of the bushes, waving his bone around and shouting insults to the dog pokemon. at first they were confused and a bit shocked, but they quickly became even more angered.

austin grabbed the cubone and unded up running from the dogs by hiding in a tree. that's where austin first met spice, his first pokemon. despite the cubon's remarks about being able to handle them, he offered to help out austin and so they became friends. now armed with a pokemon, austin left the forest to find more and more cities in ruin. he didn't know was fighting or for what purpose, but he vowed that he would put a stop to whoever was doing this.

while wandering through another ruined town he found a small cleffa crying to herself. she was crying because her trainer had abandoned her when an attack happened in the city. spice, feeling bad, comforted her the best he could. spice tried to convince austin to take the little cleffa but he refused, which angered the cubone. austin said that there must of been a reason the cleffa was left behind so why take it. spice was deeply aggravated now. he said that he thought austin was different from other humans, who only treated pokemon as tools and simply thought of them as useless. this hit hard to austin, who was left behind as spice ran off to find the cleffa. he never wanted to neglect a pokemon but why would he take up another pokemon? he put some serious thought into what he might do. gain another pokemon or lose one?

he found the two pokemon alone by a crumbling building, as the cleffa greeted him warmly while spice simply growled at him. austine began to talk saying that he would take the cleffa, after all to be able to stop whatever was causing this he needed a team. the cleffa was overjoyed and began crying while spice was happy as well.

they once again began to travel and came upon the citadel. he learned there that pravus and mewtwo's army was the cause of all the destruction throughout remoor and also learned of a team called the rangers, who were determined to fix remoor and fight against the two evil forced. he was inspired by them and decided that he too should help out, so he joined the rangers.

he began to wonder. what would life be like, if things had been different. if the choices that had been made, were different. would things be so much easier than this continued confusion and pain? would he stayed and had a life instead of chasing after stories? standing in the middle of a crowed, eyes slightly narrowed as he staired at the gray and cloudy sky. he whispered the lyrics of a song to himself, as people passed without a care, wishing just to get lost.

those words echoed through his head, as he closed his eyes and sighed. those words sounded hollow and strict. he adverted his gaze into the bustling crowd, and began walking forward, feeling the cold breeze on his bare arms. he wanted to feel the warmth of the sun back in that little town and to see that smile, one more time. just to relive those days would be bliss. his thoughts lead to her.. his face fell, eyes had a hazy gaze, as the cold seemed to blow harsher. was she okay? and how was she doing these days..
was she still the younger girl he left that day, or had she changed completely..? those thoughts swarmed him causing a small pain in his chest.

he shook his head, attempting to wash away those thoughts.
come on.. there are plenty of other girls who'd be.. never as good as her. rei bit his lip and walked faster. why did his mind always wander to her! she's the past! she probably had a boyfriend..maybe got married..who wouldn't love her? so sweet and kind.. AUG. STOP IT!

he yanked on his ears, in annoyance with himself. he really needed to stop before his chest bursts. he just needed to keep busy! yeah, that was it! just find this guy and see what information he could get about this thing! his eyes wandered to the golden bracelet, a smile plastered on his face. "i'm going to find out what mysterious powers you have."
