The previously sleeping Jynx woke up to the sound of her master's voice popping into her head.
Yes, Master? She said, the "master" part being a bit of an afterthought.

Myst pondered for a moment on how to reply to his question. Well, obviously he didn't wake her up to ask that because he could've easily ripped that information out of her mind.
It's well, lord. The status of the tower?

Mystique couldn't remember a thing about any clone called Valrog, she tried her uptmost to but not even a speck of memory arrived.
Valrog... who now exactly? You'll have to excuse me, I haven't lived with any of those tower clones of yours...
Attacks were inevitable, and Myst had been expecting Mewtwo to launch another attack soon. Carelessness is not exactly unknown here but I expect that is because you tower types don't really... offer your advice on what we should do.
But how are you? She asked, worried about what all this stress was doing to him. Mewtwo may not like to admit it, but he was one Pokemon, she wasn't sure how much stress he could handle.

Whoops, slip of the tongue. Well, Mystique felt a lot more confident around Tower clones then probably about 99% of realm clones, even Mewtwo, so she might as well forward the opinions of most realm clones onto him.
Well, you see most of the clones in the tower are pretty busy sucking up to you to assist anything we need to do. I don't know if word has gone up there yet... again, probably the too busy sucking up thing, but your bodyguards follow you around to every corner and I don't think it's necessary. What, an army of Pokemon strong enough to beat you appearing from nowhere?
Of course I am aware of the policies and I never have entered into those "battle exams" or whatever to get into the Tower, I don't care. But a lot of others here do and it's kind of like a warzone because they're pretty fucking desperate for what? A room up there?
Oh well, it was a motivator she guessed.

Well, there won't be a quick fix; there's never a quick fix to anything like this; but what's happened is inevitable. I can't imagine Team Pravus is perfectly organized and it's bee around about fifteen times as long.
Mystique had received both of his images, even if they were mostly in passing rather then anything else. Probably a weaker psychic Pokemon wouldn't have even received them, but Mewtwo and her were... not normal psychic Pokemon.
Well, if you find faults you've already won half the battle, you just need to find a way to fix them. She said gingerly, trying to reassure the Mew clone.

(I haven't forgotten you!...)
Well, it could be worse, see. She waved her hand out to the horizon, before realizing he couldn't see it and sent a message of what she was seeing. The mainland was an obvious display of chaos with the smoke from either a burning forest or one of the large factories of Pravus. You could be human she offered, trying to inch some humour into her telepathic voice.
Eight years is nothing to make something near flawless, and to make something flawless in such short time would be impossible. She knew that no matter what she said it would be near impossible to help him out of this thinking. But she could try.
