Eye Color: A light hunter’s orange Height:5’11” Build: At one time this man was well muscled, and toned, years of adventuring making it so. Now though--much of his muscle has turned to flab, and he’s developed a bit of a gut.
Other Appearance Information:
The man is rather tall, and at one time was covered in muscles, with beach tanned skin, that came from years living like a wild child. Now though he mostly sits indoors, curled up in a armchair. The man retained his muscle mass, but is now pale.
Dalton really has let himself go. The man's face always had the makings of one much younger then himself, and a smile was always present. To keep up appearances he kept himself well shaved. Those days have disappeared. A scruffy beard now lines the bottom of his chin, and has started to spread around his lips. Shadows line his eyes, and frown lines are etched at the edges of his mouth. If Baha was around--he torch his ass for letting that beard grow, after all he hated facial hair.
The man's hair seems to be the only thing that remained the same; of course not for the same reason. Atop of his head is a large poof of arcanine fluff colored hair, it spikes out in all directions, it used to show how carefree he was; but now is left that way due to sheer laziness on his part. It had been purposely brushed that way, and had been free of tangles, now its just one big mess.
Dress? Well back in the day he used to always be immaculately dressed and pressed; his ranger uniform died a bright red, with stripes of orange and red stitched around it. Now that uniform had been discarded, and replaced with a simple sweat stained grey tank-top, and a pair of matching jogging pants. In the day when Baha was alive there was no way he'd wear any shoes but his boots; or he'd go barefoot, now he is usually stuffed in a pair of bright orange slippers.
All in all he looks like a unemployed drunk, one who has seen much better days.
In all truth--he no longer cares.
The muscle has grown back, and he is his old self for the most part. The once empty orange eyes have regained their daring little glimmer. The skin has taken on a deeper tan, sunburn and peeling skin dominating his face. The clothes are cleaned pressed, and free of moth holes. The hair is still a giant messs--but this time one with a purpose. The only thing that didn't go back (as if a taunt) was the facial hair. A small wedge of white-blonde hair still resides on his chin. Personal Related Information:
Personality:
Back in the day Dalton used to be a friendly, exuberant fellow, who always smiled, and went around being touchy feely. The man seemed to have no fear, and participated in any dangerous sport he could find. Rock-climbing, deep water diving, sky sports, biking, skateboarding, and quite a few more. It always seemed he was talking to someone new, laughing, or just having a good old time.
Embarrassment what's that? Dalton didn't know what embarrassing yourself was--he would dance around, say idiotic things, and do a bunch of other tings that most people would have blushed at--but to him they were fun, and he didn't care as long as other people laughed with him.
In those days it was impossible to anger Dalton, he'd just laugh, and sic his Arcanine on you. Insult him, he'd jokingly do it back. When he was on the police force--criminals would usually get a stern talking to, and a smile, before find themselves carted DOwntown.
Dalton adores justice. Dalton despises corruption. The corruption that spread through the Remoorian police force made him quit--and forced him to join the rangers.
The most obvious thing was his love for Pokemon--his arcanine in particular. It was like he had a second shadow, the canine followed him everywhere, rough housing with him, and such. IF the dog wasn't allowed in neither was Dalton. They feuded like brothers, but loved each other deeper then even those. The death of Baha did many things to young Dalton--but all bad things must end, he has finally repaired.
DALTON TODAY
Happy? Exuberant? Funny? Daring? No.
How about a zombie? All the happiness disappeared, and has now been replaced with a cloud of sorrow, loneliness, and sheer depression. The once happy-go-lucky man, has lost what he calls a sense of "hope" along with a sense of "pride."
It was his fault that Baha died, and the guilt is almost tangible to those around him.
Of course so is his whipping tongue, and general crankiness. No longer does he laugh when you insult him, he spews a insult right back; snarls one more like. Enter his room? He'll tell you to get out. No longer does he like talking; or hearing his own voice--now he just spews simple one word answers.
From well loved member--to plague infected lump; it would take quite a lot to bring the old Dalton back. The first order of business? Get him back and training again--even if he has to be chained to the wall to do so.
All in all--he's depressed, and guilt ridden from his life. The man doesn't want to let anyone else near--not again.
An experience with Destinae, and an odd trip to what seemed the world beyond was like a slap in the face for Dalton. The emotions, and happiness came flooding back--and except for th e occasional sorrowful look his is his old self again. History: Ah--sweet memories.
The boy and Baha happened to be born within hours of one another, and were raised together, his father's female Arcanin(Muerta), watching both the young scamps when the boys father went out. At the time when they could walk they got into everything, kitchen supplies, toilets, bathtubs, dangerous plants,, and his mother's wardrobe. Nothing was off limits in the house, and the pair turned the Arcanine's whiskers, and the boys parent's hair gray.
When they matured it became worse,---into the mountains they went. Many a false police call was made when the boys disappeared camping for whole days. Always together--the boy and his Growlithe. Of course since the police chief was Dalton's father they just laughed, and sent the pair to bed when they finally showed up; usually muddy and scraped.
They each had birthday parties, the little dog receiving as many presents as the wild child. The parents never had an other kids, after all it was more then they could take keeping the boy and his Growlithe under control.
-----------------------------
After he was old enough to leave he fairly flew out of the House. Their journey started, occasionally a Pokemon would join with them, and then leave. They could never break apart those two. Except for death itself---
They soon beat a few gyms.
5 years later they found the Firestone. Stumbling through the Pro tunnels, the Growlithe bumped into the shining orange stone; and transformed. A arcanine he was--of course that only made the pair closer.
The idea of gym battles were abandoned, and ow the two rode around the countryside, fixing injustices where they were found. Eventually they joined up with the "Environmental Police". Those who protected Pokemon rights. That went well--for many years, and he soon moved up into the Police force.
Baha had quite a few scrapes--and they both were injured by their daredevil tendencies, but their relationship stayed the same. The man joined up with the rangers, and had a blast--nothing would stop the pair.
Then the Apocalypse happened. The pair fought valiantly for their precinct, and were doing quite well, until a Rhydon charged into the fray, Dalton was knocked aside; the Rhydon followed, and dropping his head , tried to finish the job with his horn. With a smile the man prepared himself for death--but not for what happened. A deep throated howl tore his world in two, and blood covered his clothing. Skewered on the horn of the Rhydon the Arcanine, used the last of his strength to kill the fearsome beast, and then fell on the ground beside his best friend.
Dead. Gone was the laughter; the joy, the brotherhood, the friendship, the keeper who made sure he didn't make any girl pregnant. Gone was everything--to Dalton the world being destroyed would not have made a thread of difference.
Now he just mopes about, and relives the moment when half his heart was ripped out of his chest, Nothing matters anymore--nothing at all. Except for the future, the one where he gets to apologize--for not taking the hit for his friend.
--
Destinae came. Destinae went--but soemthing still stuck with Dalton. A conversation with a familiar sole, and a few harsh cuffs around the ears. Dream or not . . . well . . it knocked some sense into him. Maybe it's time to let it go . . to get back to . . well . .
Having a blast.
Characters Pokemon:
Name:Baha(Deceased) Species:Arcanine Age:At Death (26) Level:82 Personality: Baha was a great friend to Dalton. They had been raised in the cradle together, and did everything together. This dog loved adventuring as much as his trainer, and never backed down from a fight. Baha was very protective of his friend, and a boastful soul, as fiery as his type.
He is deeply missed.
(At the moment he has none--FORCE ONE ON HIM)

Accepted *uses the force* I give you, and Elekid!
Name: Wannabe - Churchill- Smith Species: Elekid Age: Three Level: Five Personality: Wannabe isn't the best pokemon. He's rather rude and sarcastic, and seems to find enjoyment in people's pain, mostly Dalton's. He always makes fun of him, not caring if Dalton notices or not. Wannabe also gets bored often, and demands to be entertained in some way. He also hits on women often, and is a bit of a smug pokemon. He thinks he's the strongest and baddest pokemon out there, and could win anything if he actually wanted to try. Attacks:
