Physical Appearance Information:

Other Appearance Information: Drake's appearance is quite not what one would really expect from his side of the family. He looks like a Valentine, but atmosphere and reputation are everything, so Drake is the odd one in that perspective. The Valentines have a family tradition of silver/white colored hair, and light eyes. Their stature is extremely fit for both genders: Thin and fit for females, and muscled and strong for males. From the outside at a good distance, one would recognize Drake as a normal Valentine.
However, a closer look would most definitely define that Drake is a...different looking Valentine. He has the silver hair, as well as the light eyes (being blue). Drake's hair even has the same length and consistency as his three brothers...but his face is most different. It's broader and some say more feminine than the average male Valentine. Drake's chin is pointy, which goes along with his round face. His brothers obtained the rough and broader face, traditional for a Valentine. And because of this feature, some people even mistake Drake as his own sister, Ivy!
Moving on, his body is also smaller and less muscular than his other brothers. Drake can endure a lot, and is incredibly good at running, but cannot, for the love of him, do anything related to upper body strength. Even his arms are weak and can't lift much. The only strength that is good are his legs and lower body muscle. Drake is great at soccer and running, and is often picked first in sports relating to such. But, unfortunately, his arms and chest are weak, and people secretly gossip about it. Drake, no matter what though, always makes up for it (or at least tries to always) through his running and kicking capabilities.
The above relates to his height and weight. In the family, Drake is definitely the shortest, being a mere 5'5 compared to his towering brothers and sister. He's even the lightest, weighing 116 lbs., excusing himself for not eating much. In school, his brothers made a reputation of themselves, causing Drake to also gain one: The Oddball. But because of Drake's personality, people can only gossip and talk behind his back, as confronting bullies often find that he is quite the oddball, and not your normal weak target.
Clothes-wise, Drake made his own style more Gothic and modern, often making people turn and look. He wears a signature black top hat, which Drake tips slightly to the left for statement. His shirt is white, and he wears a sloppy black tie to go along with it, as well as a black suit coat over. Drake's pants are black, having some black stripes slightly in, and has black leather shoes with white socks inside. He looks like a goth sort of person from a distance, and sometimes acts like one to go along with his random personality.
Drake's appearance much matches his own personality, and he wears whatever he feels like wearing. One can imagine him as a silver-haired, blue-eyed guy, who just doesn't rightly fit in.
Personal Related Information:
Personality: And now we get to his personality... Well, Drake has a very random and spontaneous personality, and acts in many different ways. However, one thing in his personality is always consistent: Drake is always bored and wanting to find something interesting to do. This aspect of his personality is what makes him random and different. He's always bored, and doesn't much care for things besides the interesting event that he's trying to do. So people often don't know what to expect of him.
But his personality can still be carved out! Drake is incredibly blunt if one confronts him. He will say what he thinks of you straight off if possible just because he wants to. He also usually greets you with a long and awkward stare if you talk to him. An answer to a question will usually take a long time (especially on first meetings) and he will stare at you. If he stares at you boredly, then he's observing you. A confused stare means he's baffled by you, and will tend to shoot off on why and how (usually in a blunt and mean manner). And a blank stare means he has no interest in you and is thinking of other things...just not paying attention to you. Stares, overall, mean observance and something to do. Most people are bothered by people staring at them, and Drake looks upon it as entertaining. He doesn't mind being stared at himself either, as he brought it upon himself his whole life.
Drake is considered odd for that reason, and also for that reason he tends to think for a very long time about trivial things he remembers. He often ponders about random things and makes choices from them. He's also notorious for thinking out loud, which just confuses all around him even more. Most of the time, the thoughts Drake has are baffling logic that most people wouldn't think of. Thoughts like: "Shakespeare made plays to entertain... But what if plays entertained him? Or the entertaining itself entertained whatever it was? Why Romeo? Why Juliet? Why...death? Poison is a good way to kill someone...but so is stabbing...Dramatic...Imaginative... Genius!" are common for both out loud, and internal for Drake. He thinks and ponders deeply of things so trivial and unimportant, and makes decisions (both important and little) with those thoughts. The Shakespeare thought was brought up when Drake had to make a decision on what he should dress up as for Halloween one day. ...He ended up dressing up as Leonardo da Vinci, with a fake Mona Lisa in his hand.
...And that leads me to say that Drake is an excellent method actor. With thoughts and ponders alone, everything he dresses up to be...he is. If you put him in a Pirate suit, he will be a pirate. With his Leonardo da Vinci, he and his siblings ended up making a play in the neighborhood on Halloween all about Leonardo and his theoretical Mona Lisa inspiration. On just thinking about trivial things, Drake was able to calmly make a literally last minute play while playing a character he didn't really even care that much about. His acting was so convincing and original that people very much enjoyed it.
But upon doing something about his talent for Method Acting, Drake flunked Performing Arts. He was bored with it, and did everything he could to try and do something else. Drake is an incredibly frustrating guy, and no one really understands him. His constant boredom plays with his talents one by one to try and do something interesting, only to ignore it and look for something else. Drake is, as explained, very unpredictable in his ways, and does many different things relating to what interests him.
That affects him when people try to socialize with him. And because the influence of being an 'oddball' in the Valentine family was upon him as well, Drake acts much differently than the average person. He stares at you in whatever way he sees you as, and says what he thinks of you by reaction. Drake does talk...right after observance, so in no way is he anti-social either.
One would better understand Drake if they actually confronted him and attempted a conversation. It would involve much silence, but there would be chats. He is just so different and thinks so differently for the reason of constant boredom.
History: Drake Valentine was born the youngest child of the Valentine family. He was the accidental fifth child, as his parents (Henry and Lianna) had no intention of bearing him. But when impulse takes over, strange accidents can happen. And Drake is exactly what a 'strange accident' would be considered as.
Drake is 5 years younger than the eldest, Atticus Valentine (20, jock, president, popular, and charismatic), 4 years younger than Pierce Valentine (19, scholar, well-mannered, cultured, and mature), 3 years younger than Caleb Valentine (18, wild, uncontrollable, player, and risk-taker), and 1 year younger than Ivy Valentine (16, tough, tomboy, rebel and versatile). He was treated indifferently and was often ignored because of his different ways. For right when he was born, he was very sickly, and had to be C-Sectioned. Lianna almost died from Drake's birth, which gained him absolutely no brownie points from the family at first. But when the family felt more loving, and all huddled around his crib, all Drake did was stare at them...boredly. This marked the beginning of just how different he really was....
As a toddler, Drake was more stationary, and paid no attention to his siblings at all. He just sat in front of a wall with a painting and stared at it...eventually falling asleep. It took a very long time for him to learn how to talk and walk, as Drake rarely did either, and wasn't really interested in the activities. It took almost everyone in the family to teach Drake the beginnings of toddler-hood, and was therefore considered a very different child than the rest of the predictable Valentine children.
But as more time passed, and Drake turned four years old, talking and walking, he grew closer to the wild and mischievous 7-year-old, Caleb. Although Caleb was in Grade School already, Drake grew very interested in whatever Caleb was doing. He ended up protecting Caleb almost instinctively, and no one really scolded Drake for the reason of being just a little one. The other siblings just minded their own business in this time while Drake often paid punishment by writing and reading out loud.
Then Drake entered grade school, and caused much confusion and trouble due to Caleb's earlier influence. He purposely caused problems in the classroom, and acted exactly like Caleb. Drake's tone of voice, his actions, the way he interacted with people: He was a Caleb Junior! And to top it off, Drake pissed off teachers for him bragging that he could read and write better than the other children.
This way of acting like Caleb went on only for the first year of Grade School, however, as Drake found it boring to always get into trouble. So he instead, one-by-one, as years passed, Drake took on an exact personality of one of his siblings: 1st Grade: Caleb Valentine. Drake caused much trouble and gave many teachers headaches. He even kissed a random girl on the cheek just to run away and blame someone else. 2nd Grade: Atticus Valentine. Drake started giving random speeches to the class on how the teaching should be and who exactly was bothering him. He also discovered his gift of being able to run great and kick excellently. 3rd Grade: Pierce Valentine. Drake raised his hand all the time and started talking in a more intelligent tone. He did all his homework on time and became incredibly competitive academically. He bragged all the time about how smart he was. 4th Grade: Ivy Valentine. Drake became a rebel and did everything opposite the way people wanted it. He put up posters of rebellion and beat people up if offended. He once led the majority of 4th grade students through a 'No Homework' revolution, which lasted for three weeks.
By 5th grade, almost everyone was annoyed with Drake, and called him things like hypocrite for all four years of impersonation. Bullies bullied him, and teachers shunned him. For the first month of school, Drake went through a Dark Ages effect....until he realized how bored he was. So he instead started forming his blunt and...unique personality through boredom and inspiration. And soon, Drake formed his own style of fashion, started staring at people and observing them deeply before answering, answered bluntly and said what he thought of you (chasing bullies away through this), and also thought of trivial matters to make decisions.
Constant boredom was also a part of it too, as he started carving out different facial expressions for himself and always tried finding something to do. In fact, 5th grade was the time when he dressed up as Leonardo Da Vinci and put up a play on Halloween. Drake discovered he had many talents which included Method Acting during that time in carving. But the boredom caused him to drop out of subjects he assumed to be great in, which just made his family give up on what he wanted to do. Because for all those years he impersonated his siblings, Drake finally carved out his own different and changing personality through 5th grade, Middle School, and the beginning of High School.
Drake was exposed to Pokemon all his life (and knows quite a bit about them), but never considered it as something to do until a certain thought came around... And through all the annoyances he had with his family and strangers, his boredom found him something else to do... He was just about old enough to join the Rangers, so joined on an impulse. Drake is, however, much more interested in Pravus because the evil side has always been more appealing to him. With his questionable loyalty and impulsed choices, boredom just might change him around a few times...
Characters Pokemon:
Name: Gypsy Gender: FEMALE Species: Kitcia Age: 3 months Level: 7 Personality: It takes a lot of patience to deal with a guy like Drake, especially because of his infuriating personality and how new he is to the Pokemon scene. Unfortunately, patience is not really what Gypsy has. Her patience often runs thin with Drake's constant boredom, random antics, and questionable loyalty. Gypsy is the much more dutiful of the two and she wants to make sure that Drake does everything that he's assigned. Duty and honor come first to her before play and taking away boredom. Because of her nagging, both of them tend to argue a lot and have much tension. However, even despite their animated arguments, Gypsy is very loyal to Drake (surprisingly enough). She shares his love for battling and is honestly sometimes entertained with him. Being a smart Pokemon, Gypsy is baffled by his unpredictability and feels that she's with the right trainer. Although it's even questionable whether he shares her feelings for loyalty, she will stick by Drake and make sure he does everything required of him along the way...arguments and all... Attacks:
- Leer
- Scratch
- Ice Fang
- Splash
Role Playing Sample:
"Hey! Drake! I'll give you five dollars if you act like your brother, Pierce again in front of my friends!"
Drake stopped in his tracks as he walked along the paved road back to his home. He heard a familiar voice, and he knew just exactly who it was. It was Ray Tyler, the high school wannabe jerk who always wanted to find something to do. Drake sighed and rolled his eyes; it was something to do, and he got money from it. After all, 3rd grade was to blame for his great impersonation of his own genius brother....
But yet, he didn't turn around to look at Ray's round and fat face, trying to show off in front of some popular people he happened to haul up. Instead, Drake decided to think about his decision: Of following the golden rule which stated 'Think twice'. And so he did without any turning around whatsoever. Drake closed his eyes and sighed, trying to focus.
"Come on, guys. Ray's just faking it; Drake can't do anything! All he does is stop and think!" "No! I'm not! Drake did it in front of me before! Drake...buddy! Come on, just turn around..."
This wouldn't do. The mindless people were talking amongst themselves, and Ray was practically in his face. Drake had to tighten the blink of his eyes and frown in order to even attempt focusing. And fortunately, the thoughts boredom summoned came, and Drake smirked, pulling his hat down.
And then, thoughts of pigs entered his mind. Drake furrowed his brow though, despite the thought of them. Their little curled tails, and pink bodies were all over his mind, making mud out of his brain. They rolled around in it and pounced each other for a piece of a mud brain. Drake became disgusted at the sight, as the pigs looked messy and not at all modern. The mud was brown and runny, as Drake watched pink, fat bodies jump all around, landing and prancing in the mud of Drake's brain.
But what surprised him even more, was when little piglets came from the barn magically in the background, all in blankets of pink and sounds of snorts and squeals. Their mouths opened to reveal shades of yellow and crooked teeth, and they all went toward the mud. Drake widened his eyes and his jaw dropped, and soon, a huge pig entered his thoughts. It squealed and snorted loudly, and fell all on top of the pigs and mud.
Drake jumped at the thoughts, as he had absolutely no say in it. He couldn't object at the pigs, and he couldn't stop them despite the fact of thinking about them. However, it fortunately all ended after Drake gained control of his thoughts again, and the pigs disappeared. The background voices returned, and when Drake opened his eyes... There he saw Ray, shaking him ferociously.
"DRAKE! DRAKE! COME BACK TO EARTH--"
Drake put a hand up and put his hat back on his head, finally getting the picture. The pigs finally made sense to him now. The mud, the pink bodies, the snorting and squealing, everything! Now it was all a matter of a decision. So he turned to face Ray, who looked infuriated as of now. Drake proceeded to make Ray stop, and he looked up, making eye contact. Oh... Ray's eyes are like little brown dots on his eyes...
".........The little piggy said 'oink',"
And Drake instead impersonated a pig, getting down on all fours, snorting and squealing at Ray. He then proceeded run like a little pig down the paved path he was already walking down before...

<3 Welcome to the site Jewel.
I like Drake--kind of reminds me of Enigma, with the whole boredom thing.

Oopsy--in the rules there is a little catch that needs to be added in your profile to be sure you read the rules. I don't see it in your profile.
The profile itself is beautiful--and the second you add that, its approved.
Please Reply to this when you do so.
