The Player:
OOC Account: Rajah Age: 19 Activity Level: Planning to be very, very active. Other Characters: None.
Basic Character Information:
Name: Groudon (... or three periods. However you want it worded.) Alias: The Earth Lord, or, perhaps more fittingly, the Earth Tyrant. He greatly enjoys any title of reverence applied to him. A myriad of other titles are often used to refer to the Pokemon, negative or positive. (The Primal Lord of the Ground, the Land Titan, the Continent Pokemon, and the Behemoth, to name a few.) Gender: Male Age: Slightly older than the planet itself- after all, he and Kyogre shaped it in their great feud. Allegiance: Neutral Position: Legendary Species: Pokemon: Groudon Sexuality: Groudon cares little for promiscuity.
Hobbies:- Causing earthquakes and droughts, shifting tectonic plates, generally shaping the landscape and fighting back floods.
- Waiting for a chance to defeat Kyogre.
- Completely annihilating anything that tries to get control over him.
- Transforming landscapes- he's usually trying to turn lakes into canyons and swamps into deserts.
Likes:- Extreme heat and fire
- Solitude
- Any terrestrial Pokemon. Groudon considers himself a father to everything that walks on the land, and though he hates humanity extremely, he still has faith in other Pokemon.
- Power
Dislikes (WEAKNESSES):- Water or humidity in general
- Kyogre
- Humanity
- Any water Pokemon. He doesn't care what their intentions are, he'll torch them.
Physical Appearance Information:
Hair Color: ...Hair? In Pokemon form, absolutely none- in human form, he'll always have a large, shaggy mane of hair easily dropping below his shoulders, and, depending on how particularly skilled he is at disguise at that moment, it may range from an obvious, bloody red to a fairly normal brown. Eye Color: Pitch black with sharply-glowing golden irises. This doesn't change, even in human form, since Groudon rarely practice shape-shifting into a human- which means he often has to obscure a good portion of his face if he's ever stealthy, a very rare occurrence for the titan. Height: 11'06". Typically around 7'0" in human form. Build: Extremely muscled and solid. Groudon weighs an amazing 2094 pounds, thanks to the beast bearing such a huge muscle structure and fusing metal and magma into his frame- a process which he still continues today, gradually growing taller and heavier. This has huge consequences on his human form, as he'll always be a great beast of a man, making him one of the easier legendaries to track down.
Other Appearance Information: Groudon is one of the most distinct Pokemon in the world- a giant, bipedal lizard, the legendary was originally gray, though he now bears blood-red magma plates that have fused into his body, hardening and solidifying into flesh and muscles. These completely cover him until they stop at his underbelly and palms, two of the few remaining spots of visible flesh on the titan's body. Surrounding himself in the chaotic womb of fire and destruction that he was born into, Groudon bears great spines and claws made of the sharpest diamond- his great fangs have gained this attribute, though if he loses one, it takes several centuries for the new tooth to gain this amazing property.
Bearing four-clawed hands and three-clawed feet, Groudon’s gait is rather ungraceful, the giant lumbering about- he does this quite effectively, however, every step he takes cracking the earth beneath him into bits and pieces, his molten stride smothering every bit of moisture in the air. It’s often said that Groudon glows at night with the heat of his domain, especially if he’s recently awakened- in these cases, he sometimes emerges completely covered in lava, looking like a demon rather than a Pokemon.
Perhaps Groudon’s most distinct feature, however, other than his great, cruelly-spiked tail- often used as a deadly weapon and a steering feature underground- are the apparently black lines that trail down his veins and through his body, a great, symmetrical network running through the ridges between his armor plates. Normally, these don’t show any color- if Groudon is mildly irritated, they often run in blue pulses, following his heartbeat, while great rage and being submerged in lava makes these lines glow a sharp blue, a harsh reminder of Groudon’s enemy- only enraging the titan more.
Personal Related Information:
Personality: It's said that some people are so stubborn that any attempts to persuade them out of their ideals is like throwing a drip of water on a boulder and expecting it to crack. Groudon takes this to the greatest of extremes, physically- and mentally. Extremely vengeful and stubborn, this king of the land is much more like a dictator sitting on a throne made of skeletons, considering his word to be law. Having had little interaction with the Pokemon outside of the Earth, he rarely obeys them unless Arceus speaks, and Arceus alone. As violent as an inferno, once Groudon has his mind set on something, he's never going to give it up. He bears grudges a billion years old, hatreds and friendships even older... to cross Groudon once is to forever make him your enemy.
Groudon can be called many things, though bipolar may be one of the most fitting. He may be a terrifying enemy, but he's a valuable ally, and while he may chase Kyogre down until the end of the world, legendaries like Heatran can forever obtain his aid, with nothing expected in return. He's as stubborn as a bull, but as loyal as a hound, two distinguishing contrasts that make it all the more important to make first impressions count.
Unlike Rayquaza, Groudon doesn't bear an obvious sense of elitism so much as overpowering condescension. He rarely gives anybody a chance to speak- to even be spared from his wrath is a gift, Groudon believes. If he wants to humor you by letting you speak, so be it, but cries will most likely fall on deaf ears. He cares little for anything that doesn't involve him, and so, the vicious, violent legendary is quite solitary, content to sleep in the core of the planet until he fights Kyogre again. The only creatures he treats on an equal level are Kyogre- though rather hatefully and tauntingly- Rayquaza, who the beast knows could match him in a fight- and other legendaries, though some of the much younger legendaries receive similar treatment to humans unless he's taken a particular liking to them.
Groudon is as unpredictable as a fire- irritate him, and he'll burn forever. Gain his favor, and you have a monstrous power on your side.
It takes an apocalypse for the lizard to change his mind, and he can often be a hypocrite. It's fine for him to intrude wherever he wishes, since he claims every piece of land on the planet to be a fruit of his labor, and therefore, his. If he wants to sink that town into a tar pit, he'll do it. He cares little for what local Pokemon might say, legendary or not, let alone insignificant little humans.
A walking myriad of complexes and contradictions, Groudon's solitary enough that his hatred for others hasn't been called into question. He was made to hate water, made to hate ice, made to hate the weak- nobody's dared to offer the idea that he can override instinct.
History: In the beginning, there was nothing. As Arceus created Pokemon to shape the fabrics of the universe, it grew as cold and still as it had in the great abyss that existed before the god came into being and set the first spark of life into motion. There may have been a universe, but there was no true life other than what Arceus painstakingly created- and so the solid orb was formed. Groudon was the very first of the Earth’s trio, the world a sea of magma, a burning fireball of chaos and giant lands floating as easily as a raft on a great sea. The higher legendaries agreed- Groudon was growing too powerful. The planet would be inhospitable if he kept his iron grip on it any longer, and so, in the raging wasteland of volcanoes and heat, a blue leviathan emerged.
Needless to say, Groudon wasn’t happy with this stranger heating up his magma, eroding away ruby and covering the land in sapphire. Soon, the world was but a dirty swamp- and the great feud began. Groudon grew distant from his space-bound brethren, cutting them off as the fight started. There would be no calming his thirst for blood. Every battle in the war was a stalemate- Kyogre might cripple him with a well-placed Ice Beam, or Groudon might dispatch the other titan easily with a single Solarbeam. It was a dance of anger, a waltz of contrasts. For every tsunami that swallowed a mountain, a volcano would rip through the ocean surface, erupting violently, creating miles of land.
Every region has a different story. Kanto and Johto were won by Kyogre, the beast easily swallowing up a majority of the land Groudon had made in what was initially the supercontinent. As revenge, Groudon took his stronghold far away- Sinnoh was where Groudon cornered Kyogre in a lake, and so, decimated him with a Hyper Beam much in the same way that Kyogre had decimated him on a volcano in Kanto, a single standing pillar of land that would later be known as Cinnabar Island.
The planet was still inhospitable, every bit of life mercilessly wiped out. And so the space Pokemon converged again- something had to be done. Rayquaza was sent out, a great dragon of the sky- and so, ending their conflict with its own attacks, subduing each titan until they could negotiate, the beasts retreated, settling with a half-and-half world, although unevenly distributed… for now.
Regigigas emerged, tasked with balancing the world, pulling great masses of land together to make each continent larger, turning channels into seas and islands into great masses of plains. The golem made itself of the chaos that emerged from Groudon and Kyogre, a mass of ice, rocks, and magma, a Pokemon that could call each of the beasts its father.
Groudon is often dormant- there is the occasional skirmish between Kyogre and him, though these are often quelled quickly by Rayquaza before too much human life is taken. Arceus sealed up two shining orbs in Mt. Pyre- a blue orb to aggravate Kyogre, and a red orb to aggravate Groudon.
Team Magma insisted on finding the red orb, and awakened Groudon, much to the lord’s irritation. He had rarely seen humans, but now he thought of them as little more than despicable little insects, power-hungry and tainted.
Some legendaries who were more sympathetic to the humans argued that perhaps Groudon was simply being painfully stubborn as always- yet Groudon had seen the dirty humans, venturing into his cave, giddily bringing along a motley crew of Pokemon no matter where he took up residence. Hoenn's weather center always mentioned the devastating droughts, and so, humans followed. Digging halfway across the region every few weeks was irritating- and so, Groudon kept digging, miles under the ground until he found a place where nobody dared disturb him... Remoor.
He's remained there ever since, gladly resting, completely alone and left to his own devices unless some other legendary insistently bothers him. The most important thing, however, is that the most annoying creatures have yet to find him.
He could care less about their safety, brushing them aside, quite happy if he slaughters a few thousand in his wrath. He’s been stirring more often now, creating great caves and pits in the Remoor region to reside in, a deadly drought following him wherever he goes. Though humans are starting to catch on to the weather...
The next time he sees a human, he’ll show no mercy. He learned his lesson with that fool, Maxie, though he still maintains fairly neutral relations with most legendaries, and is obedient to Arceus- he doesn’t even mind Rayquaza. The only true hatred he bears for any other legendary is Kyogre, and many doubt this relationship will ever be mended.

Role Playing Sample: (Just a little snippet from a dark Pokemon roleplay.) Phenac City, Orre | 2:25 AM
It'd been far too quiet ever since everything started. The city had grown exponentially, fools from as far as Kanto and Hoenn flocking to Orre in order to get a step closer to Realgam Tower- a step closer to its glorious, brightly shining pinnacle, a proud titan in the middle of a dead continent.
Now it was but a hollow shell. Phenac City was nothing, a few desperate trainers gathering around the grounds, forcing doors open to silence, the glorious waterfalls still calmly pouring, the only witness to whatever unofficial, hastily arranged fights were held there.
Even that sport was abandoned. The bastards had given in to their instincts, deciding that colosseums were far too calm. The cage matches begun.
They were often held in Pyrite, chicken wire tightly wrapped around the stands, rabid, depraved, scarred Pokemon killing each other. He'd been to one once- a young man he knew was probably some tourist taken by a cutthroat, forced to fight or face a switchblade... he suddenly felt no remorse. He didn't cringe as the opposing Tyranitar's eyes filmed over, teeth bared as it tore him to small pieces. He merely felt pity for the Kangaskhan that had been dragged into a meaningless fight. The trainer was an idiot- he deserved what he got into. But the Pokemon didn't deserve anything that happened to it.
Cipher wanted to kill him. They'd already slaughtered Michael, Orre's second hero, decorated with awards, hailed as an ambassador of peace. They effortlessly went to the small lab out in the forests of northwestern Orre, and killed him. They killed his sister. They killed everyone. He remembered the news that day- the day they said his name, and said his name as well. He was the first hero. If he hadn't rebelled, Michael would have never emerged. He was now the target.
"...Shit."
He pulled himself over to the sink in the dark bathroom, the loud humming of the heater ringing throughout the house as Orre's fierce desert chill threatened to seep through the stone walls. Get out of bed. Put on clothing, brush teeth... the monotony was painful, but it helped him keep his sanity after everything he'd seen- infants being bitten by Pokemon that reeked of death suddenly devouring their parents... only for the necrotic Pokemon to be found walking later.
Cipher had left their undead Pokemon scattered across the region, an unwanted terror that the news often covered- a freshly-bitten Salamence had infected a small settlement near the Cipher Key Lair, a treacherous endeavor in the first place. Not only did the Salamence rot away... but it turned everyone in that town into a disgusting, flesh-eating beast.
Cipher'd been putting on a kind face; despite the fact that everybody in Orre knew it was quite the opposite. They spliced DNA, giving unique, fused Pokemon to foreigners- whether the results were pleasant or not. Often, these foreigners were captured, killed, and buried in the desert, while Cipher kept the Pokemon for their own purposes... or gave them to some random, dirty thug to use in the cage matches for data.
There was a distinct growl as Wes walked into the living room, two Pokemon occupying each side of the couch, purposely leaving a large space in the middle- to which the hero helped himself, his Umbreon flicking a luminescent ear and giving a brief snort, while his Espeon, almost ethereal in this darkness, curled up close to one of the hero's legs.
His response was to absent-mindedly scratch a smooth, fine ear, the Espeon appearing quite content as the Umbreon's bloody eyes stared intently at the images flashing in the screen before him.
If ONBS wasn't on... it must have been overridden. Well, this certainly beat the usual tales of rape and murder, of Cipher's terrifying reign and the fact that they didn't let anybody know of their true nature- anything leaking to other continents was quickly snuffed out. A worldwide news broadcast? Something big. Great.
"Since 11:18 PM, an unknown Pokemon has been seen rampaging across the city. The population has been cut down a quarter- three-fourths have died due to the Pokemon's attack, while others have been attacked by their own Pokemon. Mass hysteria has gripped all of Sinnoh, and this incident has now caught the attention of all regions. Champions of each region are being sent out, while Orre has yet to send any response. Despite the lack of correspondence, shiploads of refugees are leaving with everything they can for Orre- the large amount of open land and lack of wild Pokemon appears to be an ideal area for refugees."
Even Umbreon seemed entertained at this statement, muzzle twitching as the canine glanced boredly up at Wes.
Yellow eyes held no distinct flash, the man snarling as he slipped on his coat. "...They don't know about the zombies or the abominations. What do you do when something attacks? Run straight to Orre. Why haven't we responded...? Anybody who tries get shot."
The horrific bellowing outside of the house didn't alarm the man, the trainer glancing down at his two precious companions. "Espeon, Umbreon. Come on. We'll take care of this." [/sub]

Hmmmmmmm...
You need to take out that they made Heatran and Manaphy' part in the history. I don't know the exacts on what and who and where and why and all that, but I don't want that to stumble all over what any possible Heatran and Manaphy had in mind.
And, though I like a bit of the personality, it almost seems like you're contradicting himself. If he doesn't have a huge sense of elitesism, what about against Pokemon that are water types, or ones that would prefer the world covered in water/clones/whatever his pet peeves are. And he's stubborn but... cooperative? It's a great personality, but I think it needs to be tweaked a little to not sound the way it does. I really like the first part though.
And did he just come to Remoor? Just curious. Usually legendaries have something to say about Rangers/Pravus/Nada/what have you.
One more thing... can we amp down that level a tiny bit? Maybe around the 80's somewhere? We don't want too many legendaries at level 90.
Welcome to Remoor though. Everything else looks pretty good. Keep it up ^^
