Other Appearance Information:
Yoshiko's fur is a bright yellow, with jet black markings on his ears, and under his scarf. It is a fluffy-like soft. Normally, he has a blank look on his face due to always having something on his mind, however he always smiles at someone while interacting with them. This look, not quite a frown, not quite a smile, usually turns people off to interaction with him, but the few who do learn to love it. His most prized possession, the lime green scarf, is made of silk, and is almost never dirtied since he keeps it tucked away somewhere safe whenever doing something dangerous. The everstone is a whitish-blue colour and is fastened to his neck by a brown rope. It is usually not seen since the scarf covers most of it.

Personality:
Yoshiko is very introverted. He likes to keep to himself a lot, but finds great delight in seeing kindness between people and pokemon. He is very smart, but does not like to show it in fear of being labeled as conceited. There are very few people that Yoshiko would consider his friends, most are just his acquaintances. He often acts shy around others when first meeting and is not very open to most. Although he tries to hide it, relationships with others are one of the most important things to him.
He is usually deep in thought and spaced out pondering something that he either finds important or just happened to strike him as interesting. Despite his introversion, he prefers to learn from experience and contact rather than books and readings. Yoshiko is calm and controlled just about all of the time. Very rarely does he ever lose his cool, or suffer from trauma.
His past does not effect him as much as those who know about it would think, he is very fond of humans, feeling no resentment toward them, and likes to get along with them. However he becomes very cautious if one appears to be shady. The same goes for other pokemon, he gets along well, especially with electric and psychic types. He feels no need to completely close himself off from them, or be entirely open, he lets the relationship decide that. The only exception however is Houndours and Houndooms. He does not mind interacting or befriending them, but he can never completely trust them as he could another pokemon or human.
Yoshiko is much more comfortable in the wilderness than he would be in a home, or contained area. He claims to have a connection with it because he was born in the wilderness, and lived most of his life out there. At times though, he would rather stay inside though. For example, the day where his family was taken from him is a very dangerous time for him to be outside. He thinks he will be harmed or taken away so he is inside most of the day. This is one of the few fears from the past that he lets have control over him. The others being afraid of someone important to him wander off alone, or with someone that he does not know to well, high pitched noises (when made at random), and shady figures that give off a menacing vibe.
On the occasions where he is unable to keep his emotions suppressed, he tends to either, weep alone, or cut himself off from contact with others. He also expresses it in the form of music, since he does not have an instrument, he uses what is around him, or his favourite, a leaf. He will usually make music and sounds that reminds him of past events, whether joyful, or morose. Rarely however when he is depressed due to thinking about someone he had met, or due to dwelling on the night he was orphaned, he will just nonchalantly release energy and wearing himself down, following moments like these, Yoshiko usually rests a couple of days recovering strength, and getting his head back on right.
History:
Yoshiko was born to a family of Pikachu, he had a mother, and two sisters. His father had been dragged into an incident which had him taken away from the family only days before Little Yoshiko's birth. After his birth it became harder for Yoshiko's mother to gather food for the family since she had to keep a careful eye on him. One day, Yoshiko was left in the care of his eldest sister while his mother and the younger sister went out to find berries and nuts for their meal tonight. They had been gone longer than usual so the two Pichu siblings went to go look for the rest of their family. After wandering a good dozen yards from the next a strong wind suddenly started blowing. A blood curdling cry for help could be heard over a small hill in the distance. Ume quickly ran over to see telling her younger brother to stay put. Disobeying her, he crept after only to discover a shocking site. His sister had been brutally beaten by a large, black dog like pokemon, who he later discovered to be a Houndoom. He looked up in terror for his mother who was in a cage and being carried away by a strange looking man, that he had never before seen. Suddenly, there was a large flash of light and a noise, higher pitched than any the small child had heard before. Unable to see or hear, he scrambled along the forest floor hoping to find his nest, eventually fatigued, he has fell asleep.
To his surprise, he had awoken in his nest, with a strange pokemon which he had never before seen watching over him. He asked what had happened, and his new friend had explained to him what happened to his family, and the state that Remoor is currently in, and what Pravus was. The small Pichu was in shock, not knowing what to do he simply broke down and cried in his guardian's lap. Kouken was the name of the Kadabra that had saved him. For a year, Kouken had raised the little Pichu as his own, teaching him all he was able to learn, and showing him the true beauty of nature. One day, Pichu had decided to leave Remoor and travel the country. He left with a green scarf that had belonged to Ume, and an everstone that had been given to him by Kouken.
Yoshiko, had lived off the land for a whole nine months after he had left, using the knowledge he was given and what he had learned during his travels. On his way home to Remoor, there had been a test of electronic equipment in the area, and it had created a loud noise similar to the one he had heard while he was still a child. Upon hearing the noise, Yoshiko had the memories from that dreaded night played over and over...He cried out in agony releasing suppressed pain he had from the loss of his family. Blinded by these memories and negative thoughts he had forgotten everything he had learned and continued to Remoor. After two months of depressed traveling, he was on the brink of death when a human child had found him, lying in a pile of leaves. The child offered Yoshiko a ride the remaining way to Remoor. The month he had spent traveling with that child had completely erased the sad thoughts he had previously had, and given him hope that there are people out there who are good at heart, and are willing to make sacrifices for others. After arriving in Remoor and saying his goodbyes with the child, he had realized he had not arrived in his hometown, and that his hometown no longer existed. It was erased by war and struggle, and had been reduced to a desolate wasteland, deprived of the beauty he had long awaited to see once again. However, he kept a positive attitude hoping that it would one day be like that again and continued on to the Nada Citadel region, where he hoped to start a new chapter of his life.

On his to way to Nada Citadel from the wasteland that was Remoor, he wandered through the Western region. At the time there was no one in sight, like a ghost town. He tried to use it to his advantage as much as possible, he did not feel like walking straight through and decided to rest in a small building that was barely standing. After fashioning a bed out of leaves, he took a short nap, an hour at most. Rejuvenated, he decided to wander the town. Before heading out, he removed his green scarf and hid it in his bag under the makeshift bed of leaves. He started walking around, wondering how everything was destroyed. After a while of wandering, he walked out into the surrounding forest of dead, silhouetted trees. He didn't feel good, almost as if the land's grief was becoming his own. He was starting to feel the effects of the toxins and chemicals left over from the war, he dashed back to his abode, trying not to overdo it. Upon arrival, he drank some of the water he had brought with him, and then put the scarf back on. “Such sadness,” he thought to himself, “sister would not like it at all.” He searched the building he was staying in for anything that would help him on his journey, but there was nothing, except for a picture of a family. A mother, father, son, two daughters, and a small pokemon he had never seen before. Yoshiko placed the photo back where he had found it, went back to his bed, and started to play a song on one of the leaves. It was melancholy, but still a step up from the silence in the land.
The next day he packed up, and before leaving took one last look at the family photo, a slight smile came over his face. After that he continued on his way to Nada Citadel, wondering what it was like, if it was lively, if their were happy families there? Upon arrival, he had a very wide smile, hoping to meet someone that would bring him joy.
