Physical Appearance Information:
Hair Color:Jet Black Eye Color: Icy Blue Height:5ft 5in Build: She has an average build that is border lining skinny, but she isn't obsessive about her weight or anything like that. She has strong legs for her build, but she isn't very curvy.
Other Appearance Information: Furoi always had a ghostly appearance due to her pail skin and dark black hair. Even though she had been travelling for six years her skin had only darkened a little, but often got sunburns that her pokemon mocked. Her hair is fairly long, reaching down to her lower back, so she often ties her hair up in pigtails or a long ropy braid. She has bangs that flop in her face, but the hide her large forehead. Her eyes make her have a glare to have an unnerving feel, and they don't show emotion as easily.
Furoi wears natural colors especially when layered with black. She often wears black cargo pants so she can store her "useless crap" as she often refers it to be. Because her small frame, she is always wearing a leather belt of some sort. Most of her belts have a compartment where she holds a deck of cards and her switchblade, and some of them hold Shi and Astell's pokeballs. She wears leather work boots, which have steel toes added to them by Furoi (she thinks it makes her look a little bit more threatening). She usually wears a black or white t-shirt with a colored vest. Her vests are usually cream colored, olive green, or maroon. Her hair is tied in cloth ribbons that match the color of her vest.
Personal Related Information:
Personality:
"I really need to work on my social skills."
Furoi initially appears as a sarcastic smartass. She is brutally honest, and often judges people before she gets to know them. Furoi is a very proud person, and doesn't like to people to look down upon her. She often mumbles when talking to others, and sometimes she looks like she is talking to herself (in actuality she is talking to Shii, her Bannette.) She doesn't show much respect for other people, especially those who disrespect life. Furoi is a stubborn person, and doesn't like to take crap other people. She'll get into a debate about anything with anyone, even if the person is right. Sometimes she'll help Shii with a prank or two, but other than that she usually isn't into humor.
"I won't let you know how weak I am."
Furoi does have a nicer side though. She can be very loyal friend if you earn her trust, and put her life on the line for people she cares about. Furoi is a noble person that wishes to do what is morally right over all. She can be kind with her closest friends and pokemon, even if she won't show it in public. Furoi is deeply afraid of death and tries her hardest to make sure that someone close to her never experiences it. She won't admit it, but Furoi hopes that one day she will find that "special person" after she helps rebuild Remoor Region.
"Smart? Yeah...I'll get back to you on that one"
Furoi isn't book smart, and probably never will be. Furoi isn't the type to go out and seek all the information in the world. She isn't a gullible kind of person, though, and is surprisingly cautious. Her intelligence comes from her experience when traveling and her "psychic" skills of observation. She is a good strategist, and knows how to push her opponents to their limits. Her valiant strategies can easily backfire, though, and she knows how to accept a loss. Furoi hasn't been taught in human combat skills, but she does know how to give a nasty kick with her steel toed boots. Although she grew up in a family of "psychics" she doesn't believe that psychic humans really exist, and refuse to believe that she might have inherited some psychic power.
"Wanna play a game of cards?" Furoi has marvelous intuition and luck, and loves to put it to use when playing card games. She also skilled at analyzing people and predicting their moves, and she makes it difficult for people to analyze hers. Her favorite games are Texas Hold 'Em and Blackjack, but she also plays the kiddish card games with skill as well. Her unpredictable personality makes her a good bluffer, so people have a hard time catching her lies. Furoi often gets irritated with the fact that she is too young to go to the casino yet, so she has to make due with regular arcade games. Needless to say, that doesn't mean she won't try to sneak in.
History:
"Kanto had always been a relatively peaceful region. Sure, you had a criminal organization that was constantly scheming up ways to command of the little country, but they were always defeated by someone. There were too many noble, competitive spirits on the loose, all wanting some kind of adventure. No mafia, team, or dictatorship could possibly contain them. Yet every single one of those noble competitors hesitated when they entered Saffron City. It didn't take a genius to know that a shadow hung over the town, an unnerving fear that haunted every single citizen that lived there. Everyone was terrified of the resident gym leader and her followers. Those people weren't noble like the other gym trainer, but were in fact power hungry occultists who were obsessed with pushing the limists of the human mind. Sabrina, the obvious gym leader to be, was the worst. Having the desire to become the strongest psychic in history had driven her to complete insanity. As crazy as she was, she definitely had the power to usurp the last leader, and her reign as the strongest psychic looked like it would never end. Of course, other psychic families didn't take too kindly to this new leader. It was obvious that they wanted her out, and quick. Problem was, they needed to find a way to defeat her. At first, plenty of other psychic trainers practiced to a ridiculous extent to challenge the schizophrenic gym leader, only to fail every single time. Some even disappeared after challenging her, striking fear in those who wished to challenge her. It's all fun and games until someone looses their soul, it seems. It was pretty clear that this chick was a prodigy, and the only way to stop this prodigy was to dump the problem on the next generation. So a bunch of psychics started pairing up to have lots of unprotected-" --- "Furoi! There are children here! You said you were going to make this formal!" "It was for a while, right? Come on, you know this story pisses me off."
"Just leave out that part, okay?" "Fine, whatever, just don't interrupt anymore..." --- "Lots of psychic children started 'magically appearing' for parents who were both psychics roughly nine months after that. During those nine months the youngest child of the Moet family came home for a visit, I think his name was Evander or something. Yeah...Evander Moet sounds about right. Anyway, compared to the rest of the Moets, he was a pretty carefree guy. He still carried the mutant psychic gene, making him a psychic like everyone else, but he wanted to see the world and help people. So he became a carefree guy who wanted nothing to do with his family or his crazy hometown. But family is family, and you can't totally disregard them for your whole life. You need to come visit every now and then. Of course, during that visit he fell in love. The girl he fell for was, not so surprisingly, a psychic. Her name was Adalie Welheim. If you were hoping for the Shadowstalker family or the 'insert really cool last name family. In the real world, psychic names usually suck. That's why most people try to come up with weird first names so their children sound mystical or powerful or whatever. Hence why my name is a jumble of letters that was made to sound Asian, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Adalie was a very sweet woman, which was a rare sight in Saffron. Her only skill in the mental side of things was her ability to experience events that happened in the future. Most of these events were the catastrophic kind, which gave her frequent trips to the hospital. She was one of the few people who would bother to listen to Evander's stories about his travels or his opinions on how to make Saffron better. In her words, Evander was a "very brave man, with very bold ideas" or something like that. At first, they talked a lot, but soon they relationship sped up into dates, more dates, a marriage proposal, and then me! Those were some good times for the two of them, and soon enough, the three of us. But I was going to learn fast that having a normal family dynamic in Saffron was a privilege, not a right.
---
"dun Dun DUN!"
"Shut up, Shii!"
"Just get to the part with me in it, okay?"
--- "Now, like most people, I don't really remember much about my toddler years. Most of it was a big confusing blur to me.
Characters Pokemon:
Name: Zashiki Warashi (Shii) Species: Banette ("who's all man!") >D Age:9 Level:50 Personality: Out of all the pokemon on Furoi's team, Shii holds the most complicated relationship with the breeder. He's the only one (aside from Theo, maybe) who could rip her out of her comfort zone, unleash her temper, and leave her paranoid in a matter of minutes. Yet, if he were to disappear forever, she would be reduced to tears. Furoi may tell everyone that she often is annoyed that Shii is around, but deep down, the two of them have been through a lot. They're like siblings, 'cept one is a creepy cloth guy. But just because the two of them do get along, that does not mean that Shii is a 'good' guy. Actually, out of all of the pokemon in their little group, he is the most evilly inclined. He's the kind of pokemon that just looks for trouble and violence; doesn't help that on top of that, he's a bit of a pyro. He's renouned for pranking innocent rangers (mostly targeted at Furoi) and having little hissy fits about being punished after words. In fact, if he isn't pouting about something, then he is probably plotting something, something that will probably make him pout about later. However, in battle, he's all business. He literally fights to kill or until Furoi calls him off, and unlike Veni, he's not one to fight gracefully. His insults aren't very graceful either. After the incident with Theo, Shii made it his duty to personally stalk follow Furoi nearly everywhere she goes. He's not to keen to see other guys messing with her either (interpret any way you will). The only time he is ever away from Furoi at night when he knows she is back at the breeding center, asleep (Furoi teases him about this, seeing how a lot of 'dangerous' stuff happens at night). Where does he go? Usually to the citadel, and more specifically, the underground or sometimes he does some snooping in the ranger base. This makes him a large source of information, but he usually keeps this stuff to himself. As for the rest of the team, he generally dislikes all of them (sweetheart, isn't he?). He usually gets along well with Huck Seed, their newest member, but the rest he usually insults or takes advantage of. In spite of this, he does fight very well with Astell and Veni, but he would rather not be associated with them. However, he and Ven share a pact to make sure that Furoi get destroyed emotionally to the point where she looses control of her inherited gift. As for Kera, well, he is taking a liking to tell her little lies to make her panic, but sometimes he'll try to be a mentor for her, just to make her more useful for Furoi.
Attacks: Shadow Ball Sucker Punch Will-o-whisp Thunder Shadow Claw Psychic
Name: Astell Species:(female)Altaria Age:8 Level:48 Personality: Astell, although she had evolved recently, had always been a wise, kind pokemon. . She and Warashi often argue about Furoi's choices, making Astell the angel on her shoulder, and often acts like her conscience. She often detests fighting, but will battle if she is in a dangerous situation. Astell is highly respected by the other pokemon on Furoi's team, and is quite motherly to new pokemon.
Attacks Dragonbreath Earthquake Sing Take Down Mirror Move
Name:Kera Species:(female) Mareep Age:1 Level:14 PersonalityKera is a young playful pokemon that was recently captured by Furoi before she came to Remoor. Kera became a little bit more timid after entering Remoor, especially after she heard about the cloned pokemon that the rangers are supposed to fight. She is the focus of training at the moment, but she still lacks confidence in her abilities.
Attacks Thundershock Body Slam Thunder Wave Charge Spark
NameVeni Species(male) Kirlia Age3 Level25 Personality Veni is a very poised pokemon, that is probably the most serious pokemon on Furoi's whole team. He is often teased by Warashi for obvious reasons. He takes his training very seriously, and wishes to be strong enough to defeat Warashi in a battle. He doesn't dance when the other pokemon are around.
Attacks Confusion Magical Leaf Double Team Calm Mind
Role Playing Sample:
"Shii, you can't be serious." Furoi said, looking at what he had set up with absolute horror. On her small bed sat a self-satisfied Banette, next to a rainbow colored mini-skirt with a bright blue tube top. She absolutely couldn't stand bright colors, especially when its on revealing clothes like the ones she had in front of her. Earlier in the week, Furoi made bet with him when playing a game of poker, claiming that she would let him pick her clothes for the weekend. Why was that annoying ghost so difficult to read? Why did he even want to see her in a mini-skirt anyway? How in the world did he get these clothes, anyway? She didn't have a choice but to abide by the bet, because she definitely wasn't going out in public wearing her ratty old nightgown.
"Do I even get shoes?" She asked, looking at the selection. Her answer was given by the ever widing smirk the pokemon was giving, making her stick her tounge at him. He floated out of the room speaking in his dark scratchy voice, "A deal's a deal, Furoi." as she kicked the door closed behind him. She threw on the clothes, ranting to herself in the process. Her long black hair was a mess, taking her several minutes to make it regain its shine with the her hairbrush. Her rage and embarrassment built up every second she looked in the tiny mirror, and by the time she left her small room she was fuming. Her face was a burning bright red, as she could barely hold back the violent things she wished to do to him right now.
"Okay, how about we play another game. If you win, I'll let you have your shoes back. Deal?" Shi said, feeling a little guilt. Furoi sighed, wishing that she treated him more like a pokemon than a friend. She then smiled at him, then turned back into her room, bringing out a deck of cards.
"You sure as hell aren't going to beat me this time!"

. . .Furoi is a nice character.
But I added "Female Rangers: into the "CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTED THREAD"
Rangers are getting way to many members--maybe turn her into a breeder, or something?
*pause* There better be more then three ranks..otherwise..well rangers are screwed.

Furoi being a breeder would be entertaining.
